CineScope is a mini theater located in Narayanganj, Bangladesh. This is the first mini theater in Bangladesh [1] and the smallest mini theater in Asia. [2]

History

The founder of this mini cineplex is Mohammad Nuruzzaman Dalim. He designed the Ali Ahammed Chunka City Library and Auditorium building located in Narayanganj town. After the construction of the building, a portion of the underground car park was unused, so he planned to have a mini cineplex there. The cineplex was built there after getting permission from the Mayor of Narayanganj City Corporation. [1] It was scheduled to inaugurated in Eid-ul-Adha, 2019 (August). This 35-seat mini theater is operated jointly by City corporation authority and CineMaker, a film production studio. This 4K theater with Dolby 7.1 surround sound system shows 3D films. [3] The theater has a coffee shop also. [4] It was opened on September 20, 2019. The first film showed in the theater was Surja Dighal Bari . [5] The mini theater was closed for a total of 14 months in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. [1]

The soundtrack album and background score of the film was composed by Savvy Gupta and Akassh. The film was released on 26 June 2017 on the occasion of Eid in Bangladesh and released in India on 28 July 2017.

Casino is an Bangladeshi crime thriller action film directed by Saikat Nasir, produced by Rajib Sarwar and distributed by Cimplex International Company, the first production for the company. It will star Nirab, Shabnom Bubly and Taskeen Rahman. Abdullah Zahir Babu and Asad Jaman co-writes the screenplay. This is Bubly's first movie without starring Shakib Khan. Principal photography of the film begun on 24 November 2019. The film was scheduled to release in Summer 2020, but the release was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Razmoni, a now defunct movie theater, known as Razmoni Cinema Hall, was one of the most famous in Dhaka City. It is located on VIP Road in Kakrail. Freedom fighter Ahsanullah Moni built the Razmoni Theater in Kakrail in 1972 on 24 kathas of land. Another theater named Razia was built next to Razmoni under the same ownership. The 400-seater Razia Auditorium was smaller in size than Razmoni. In addition to the auditorium, the building housed a music and sound recording studio, an image recording studio, a dubbing studio, and an editing panel. Due to the slump in the film business and continued losses, the theater was slated to close in October 2019 and be converted into a commercial building.

Modhuban Cineplex is a movie theater located in Bogra, Bangladesh. The movie theater was renovated and reopened on 15 October 2021. It will be upgraded to a multiplex in future. It is one of three remaining theatres in Bogra out of ten at the peak. The other theatres are Bambi Digital Cineplex and Sonia Hall.
