The Civil Defense Directorate provides civil defense and emergency services in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The Directorate was established in 1956, and lies under the jurisdiction of the country's Ministry of Interior. [1] [2]

Syrian refugee camp and shelters are temporary settlements built to receive internally displaced people and refugees of the Syrian Civil War. Of the estimated 7 million persons displaced within Syria, only a small minority live in camps or collective shelters. Similarly, of the 8 million refugees, only about 10 percent live in refugee camps, with the vast majority living in both urban and rural areas of neighboring countries. Beside Syrians, they include Iraqis, Palestinians, Kurds, Yazidis, individuals from Somalia, and a minority of those who fled the Yemeni and Sudanese civil wars.

Timber Sycamore

Timber Sycamore was a classified weapons supply and training program run by the United States Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and supported by some Arab intelligence services, such as the security service in Saudi Arabia. Launched in 2012 or 2013, it supplied money, weaponry and training to rebel forces fighting Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in the Syrian Civil War. Ministry of Interior (Jordan)

The Ministry of Interior of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan is part of the Cabinet of Jordan. Established in 1921, at the time of the establishment of the Emirate of Transjordan, it is responsible for law enforcement in Jordan. On January 15, 2017, Ghaleb Zu'bi was appointed as Minister by prime minister Hani Mulki.

Transport Malta is a government body overseeing transport in Malta. It comes under the authority of the Maltese Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure. It was created in 2010, taking over the previous functions of the Malta Maritime Authority, the Malta Transport Authority and the Director and Directorate of Civil Aviation. Transport Malta has charge of building and maintenance of roads and public transport infrastructure; sea transport, including registration of ships; and regulation of civil aviation.

The current Minister of Defense is Major General Begench Gundogdyev. It was founded in January 1992 with the assistance of the Russian Armed Forces.

Ministry of Emergency Situations (Belarus)

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Belarus is a government agency overseeing emergency services in Belarus. It is responsible for protecting the Belarusian people during natural disasters. It is located on Revaliucyjnaja Street in Minsk. The Ministry for Emergency Situations was established in accordance a decree of President Alexander Lukashenko on September 23, 1994.
