Clare Eichner-Taylor (born December 7, 1969) is a retired female long-distance runner from the United States, who is best known for winning the women's 3000 metres at the 1993 Summer Universiade.
Representing the Wisconsin Badgers track and field team, Eichner won the 1500 m and 3000 m at the 1993 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships. [1]

Noureddine Morceli is a retired Algerian middle-distance runner. He was the winner of the 1500 metres at the 1996 Summer Olympics and won three straight gold medals at that distance at the World Championships in Athletics. He set world records in the 1500 m, the mile run and the 3000 metres.
Saïd Aouita is a former Moroccan track and field athlete. He is the only athlete in history to have won a medal in each of the 800 meters and 5000 meters at the Olympic games. He won the 5000 meters at the 1984 Summer Olympics and the 1987 World Championships in Athletics, as well as the 3000 meters at the 1989 IAAF World Indoor Championships. He is a former world record holder over 1500 metres (3:29.46), 2000 m (4:50.80), 3000 m (7:29.45), and twice at 5000 m. He lives in Orlando, Florida.

Paul Donovan (athlete) (born 11 July 1963) is an Irish former long-distance runner. He was the silver medallist in the 3000 metres at the 1987 IAAF World Indoor Championships. He was the number one ranked indoor runner that year. He represented Ireland at the Olympics twice: in 1984 and again in 1992.
Panagiotis Papoulias is a Greek former track and field athlete who competing middle- and long-distance running events. His greatest achievement was a bronze medal at the 1996 European Athletics Indoor Championships. He was a two-time participant at the World Championships in Athletics and also ran at the 1998 IAAF World Cross Country Championships and 1998 European Athletics Championships.
Ines Bibernell is a former East German female track and field athlete who competed in middle- and long-distance track events. She was a gold medallist at the European Athletics Indoor Championships in 1986.
