Ford County was part of the Champaign–Urbana, IL Metropolitan Statistical Area until 2018, when the Office of Management and Budget removed the county from the area.
Ford Heights is a village and a suburb of Chicago in Cook County, Illinois, United States. The population was 1,813 at the 2020 census. Many of the area’s first settlers were African American and since its incorporation in 1949 the village has remained predominantly Black. Due to the lack of commercial activity and financial stability, the village has declined over the years. Urban renewal efforts were attempted in the 1960s, although the village has continued to decline.

Savoy is an unincorporated community in Litteral Township, Washington County, Arkansas, United States. It is located on County Route 845 east of Lake Wedington. The Ozark National Forest is just west of the community. The Savoy area is marked with bluffs and streams. A distinctive feature is the dam on Clear Creek where a flour mill was once in operation. Savoy had a post office and businesses that no longer exist.

She was formerly an Assistant United States Attorney in the United States District Court for the Central District of Illinois, where she was chief of the violent crimes section.
William Harrison Boring was an American Union soldier who fought in the American Civil War, and who was a member of the distinguished battalion in the 33rd Illinois Infantry Regiment that helped lead the fall of Vicksburg in 1863. Boring would later come to be known as a pioneer after settling the town of Boring, Oregon in 1874, which took its namesake after him.
