Clarington Central Secondary School (also known as CCSS) is a public secondary school located in Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada, within the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board. The school includes Grades 7-12.
Clarington Central Secondary School opened in September 2005 to students and was later officially opened by Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board officials and the former Mayor of Clarington John Mutton in November 2005.
CCSS is well-known for its Arts programming, and in particular its vibrant musical theatre program. Many students from this program have gone on to successful careers in theatre, film, and television. The school was the stage of LaMira Rose Theatre Collective’s original show Concealer in August, 2019. The founder of the collective is Mars Russell, a member of CCSS alumni.

Adam Scott Collegiate and Vocational Institute and Intermediate School is a high school and middle school in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada, and was named for Adam Scott, Peterborough's first settler. It was established in 1960. As of 2009, 222 students were enrolled in its Intermediate School and 796 students in the secondary school. The school has an auto shop as well as a basic chemistry lab. It also has a newly renovated library and a courtyard.

Kenner Collegiate Vocational Institute is the oldest operating public high school in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. It opened in 1952 and is now an accredited International Baccalaureate School. It is named after Peterborough Collegiate Institute's quinquagenary teacher and principal Dr. H.R.H. Kenner, father of literary scholar Hugh Kenner.
PACE at Peterborough Collegiate, formerly Peterborough Collegiate Vocational School, is a public secondary school located in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada and is a member of the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board. It is one of the oldest public schools in the country and was the only public high school in the city of Peterborough until the opening of Kenner Collegiate Vocational Institute in 1952. Regular student programming ended at Peterborough Collegiate Vocational School in June 2012. The building was renamed Peterborough Collegiate and in August 2012 opened as a re-purposed facility offering alternative and continuing education (ACE).
Catholic Central High School (CCH) in London, was Ontario's first Jr. Catholic High School, opened with grades 7 to 13 in September 1950. The new building was a Junior High School with grades 7 to 10. The original building on site was formerly known as Sacred Heart Convent and it housed 11, 12, 13 for a number of years but dropped grades 7, 8 when enrolment in grades 9 & 10 increased.
