Clark Lake is a small lake in Columbia Township in southern Jackson County in the U.S. state of Michigan. [1]
Golf Courses, parks and many other recreational activities surround the lake and provide a person with things to do year round. Clark Lake is located near the Irish Hills, Michigan International Speedway and the downtown area of Brooklyn. There are over 14 different challenging golf courses within 20 miles (32 km) of Clark Lake.

Jackson is the only city and county seat of Jackson County in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 33,534, down from 36,316 at the 2000 census. Located along Interstate 94 and U.S. Route 127, it is approximately 40 miles (64 km) west of Ann Arbor and 35 miles (56 km) south of Lansing. Jackson is the core city of the Jackson Metropolitan Statistical Area, which includes all of Jackson County and population of 160,248.

It is known throughout the state for its scenery, especially in the summer, with its hills and larger kettle lakes surrounding the 654-acre (2.65 km2) Hayes State Park. It is also known for its chain of smaller kettle lakes along US Highway 12 that link to Cambridge Junction Historic State Park which adjoins the Michigan International Speedway.
Lake Columbia is a small man-made lake in Columbia Township in southern Jackson County in the U.S. state of Michigan. Originally formed as a mill pond in 1836, it was expanded to 840 acres (3.4 km2) in 1961. At its greatest extent, the lake is 2 and 1/4 miles long and 1 and 3/4 miles wide. It has approximately 14 miles (23 km) of shoreline and the water source to the lake is Goose Creek. The lake has an average depth of 18 feet (5.5 m). Lake Columbia is located 2 miles (3.2 km) west of Brooklyn, Michigan. The latitude for the lake is 42.0928 and the longitude is -84.3011 with an elevation of 988 ft (301 m) above sea level.
Vineyard Lake is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Jackson County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The CDP had a population of 980 at the 2010 census. It is located within Columbia Township to the west and Norvell Township to the east.
