Clark and Sorrell Garage is a historic automobile repair shop located at Durham, Durham County, North Carolina. It was built in 1932, and is a one-story brick building, three bays wide and four bays deep, with a flat tar and gravel roof. It was expanded about 1941 with a seven bay, brick-faced addition. The addition features an Art Moderne style entrance with a stuccoed surround. Attached to the garage is a two-story office building. It is the oldest auto repair garage still in operation in the city. [2]

It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000. [1]

Ephphatha Church, also known as Faith Tabernacle, is a historic Episcopal church at 220 W. Geer Street in Durham, Durham County, North Carolina. It was built in 1930, and is a small, one-story, six-bay deep, Gothic Revival-style brick building. It is one of only four churches in the United States built exclusively for a deaf congregation. The Episcopal Diocese of North Carolina rented the Ephphatha Church building to another congregation from 1977 until early 1981, then sold the building.

Portland Fire Station No. 7, located in southeast Portland in the U.S. state of Oregon, is a two-story structure listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Built in 1927, it was added to the register in 1989. It was the last of numerous Portland firehouses to be designed by fire chief and architect Lee Gray Holden, who died of a stroke while visiting the No. 7 firehouse in 1943. The building continued to be used by the city's Fire Department until the 1980s, when it was sold off and used as an automobile garage. It was acquired by a local developer in 2009, and was restored and remodeled for office and retail use.

Built in 1860 and enlarged in 1868, it is the only major surviving element of New Hampshire's first state prison complex, which was mostly torn down in the 1890s. The Oak Street Garage is an historic automotive storage and repair facility at 2600 North Howard Street in Baltimore, Maryland. The single story Beaux Arts style building was built in 1924 and expanded in 1927. The building has a roughly trapezoidal shape, with a triangular office area in the front and two garage bays in the rear, the second a few steps down from the first. The building is finished in brick. It was first used by Neely and Ensor, a manufacturer of high-end carriages that had branched out into the automotive field. At the time, what is now Howard Street in that area was called Oak Street.

Riley Everhart Farm and General Store is a historic farm and general store located near Welcome, Davidson County, North Carolina. The main house was built in 1885, and is an I-house that consists of a two-story, three-bay by two-bay, brick main block with a two-story rear ell with Italianate-style design elements. It has a one-story front porch and one-story porches on the ell. The Arnold General Store and Post Office is a tall, narrow two-story, three-bay, frame building with a gable roof. Also on the property are the contributing original brick dairy and wellhouse, original log barn, granary, gear house, corn crib, woodhouse, chicken house, and garage.

Watts and Yuille Warehouses, also known as Brightleaf Square, are two historic tobacco storage warehouses located at Durham, Durham County, North Carolina. They are part of the Bright Leaf Historic District. They were built in 1904, and are two identical buildings parallel to each other with a courtyard in between. They are two-story Romanesque-style brick structures, seven bays wide and twenty bays long. Each unit of the warehouses is 75 feet by 118 feet, for a total of 35,400 square feet on each floor. They are an example of "slow burn" masonry and wood factory construction. They were among the 12 brick tobacco storage warehouses erected by The American Tobacco Company trust beginning in 1897. The buildings have been converted to retail and office use.

Durham Hosiery Mill is a historic textile mill complex located at Durham, Durham County, North Carolina. It includes seven contributing brick buildings in the complex. The original Durham Hosiery Mill was built in 1902, and consists of a four-story main building with a six-story Romanesque Revival-style tower in front; engine, boiler, and heater houses attached at the rear, and a one-story dye house. The main building was expanded with a two-story annex in 1904, and a three-story annex in 1906. Other buildings include the triangular Annex No. 1 (1912) and a three-story brick finishing building. By 1910, the Durham Hosiery Mills Corporation was the largest manufacturer of cotton hosiery in the world. The mill was abandoned in 1922.

It features a projecting center bay, plate-glass storefront windows, and a centered front entrance with original glass-block entrance surround.

Hillside Park High School, also known as Hillside High School, James A. Whitted Elementary School, and James A. Whitted Junior High School, is a historic school building for African-American students located at Durham, Durham County, North Carolina. The original Classical Revival portion dates to 1922 and is a T-shaped, two-story building on a full basement. A three-story red-brick, T-shaped Modern Movement-style addition was built in 1954–1955, with a one-story-on-basement gymnasium rear wing. Also on the property is a contributing greenhouse built about 1960. The school served the African-American student population of Durham until 1970, when the schools were integrated.

The City Garage is an expansive, largely one-story, polygonal structure with multiple equipment-size access bays. It features arcaded bays and stepped and rounded parapets. The Garage was built in 1927, with 1935, 1940s, c. 1955, and c. 1965 additions.

North Durham County Prison Camp, also known as Durham County Tuberculosis Sanatorium, is a historic prison and sanatorium located at Durham, Durham County, North Carolina. It was built in 1925, and is a three-story, T-shaped, Italianate style brick building. The building measures 232 feet long and has 17,000 square feet of floorspace. It features a three-bay, Tuscan order portico in the Colonial Revival style. The building was originally constructed to serve as a prison facility. It housed a prison between 1925 and 1938, was converted for use as a tuberculosis sanatorium beginning in 1944 and continued this function until 1953. It then housed WTVD Television Corporation until 1979.

Northampton County Courthouse Square is a historic courthouse complex located at Jackson, Northampton County, North Carolina. The courthouse was built in 1858, and is a tall one-story, three bay by three bay, Greek Revival style temple-form brick building. It sits on a raised basement and features an imposing prostyle tetrastyle portico with great fluted Ionic order columns. The building was remodeled and a two-story rear addition built in 1939 by the Works Progress Administration. The clerk's and register's office was built in 1831, and is a one-story brick building with stepped parapet gable ends and a plaster cornice. A later clerk's office was built in 1900 between the 1831 building and the courthouse.

Mahler and Carolina Trust Buildings, also known as McLellan's Dime Store and McCrory's Dime Store, are two historic commercial buildings located at Raleigh, North Carolina. The Mahler Building was built in 1876, and the Carolina Trust Building was built in 1902. They were consolidated as McLellan's Dime Store about 1933. A two-story annex was added to the building in 1952. The Mahler Building is a three-story, three-bay, Renaissance Revival style brick building with round arched windows. The Carolina Trust Building is a four-story, three-bay, Classical Revival style brick building. The annex is a two-story, seven-bay, addition with Art Moderne design elements.

Carolina Power and Light Company Car Barn and Automobile Garage is a historic streetcar barn and automobile repair shop located at Raleigh, North Carolina. It built in 1925 and is a one-story, rectangular brick building in the Art Deco style. It measures 210 feet and 6 inches in length and 59 feet and 7 inches in width and features terra cotta ornamentation. The building was originally built to house the Carolina Power and Light Company's electric streetcars and buses and was converted to automotive and service vehicle storage in the 1940s.

The Checker Cab Building was built as a garage and office building located at 2128 Trumbull Avenue in Detroit, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2019. The building has been rehabilitated into residences, and is now part of the Elton Park lofts.
