David Aebischer is a Swiss former professional ice hockey goaltender who played in the National Hockey League with the Colorado Avalanche, Montreal Canadiens and the Phoenix Coyotes. He was a member of the 2001 Stanley Cup champion Avalanche team, becoming the first Swiss native to achieve the feat. Aebischer also played several seasons in his native Switzerland with HC Fribourg-Gottéron, HC Lugano and the Rapperswil-Jona Lakers of the National League (NL).

He was drafted by the Columbus Blue Jackets as their fifth-round pick, #133 overall, in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft. Internationally, he played for the Finland men's national ice hockey team, and was inducted into the IIHF Hall of Fame in 2024.

Reinhard Divis is an Austrian former professional ice hockey goaltender. He played 28 games in the National Hockey League with the St. Louis Blues from 2002 to 2006, and was the first Austrian to play in the NHL. The rest of his career, which lasted from 1993 to 2012, was mainly spent in the Austrian Hockey League. Internationally Divis played for the Austrian national team in several World Championships and at the 1998 and 2002 Winter Olympics.

Holík played for Dukla Jihlava in the Czechoslovak Extraliga and was a member of the Czechoslovakia men's national ice hockey team. Holík was a member of the Czechoslovak 1976 Canada Cup team. He was also a member of the country's medal winning teams at the 1964, 1968, 1972, and 1976 Winter Olympics. He was inducted into the IIHF Hall of Fame in 1999.
