Clayton Strother (born October 28, 1980) is a retired American artistic gymnast. He was a member of the United States men's national artistic gymnastics team and won multiple medals while representing the United States at the 2003 Pan American Games.
Strother was born October 28, 1980, to Mike and Cynthia Strother. [1] He participated in gymnastics from a young age at Beaumont Gymnastics Academy and was selected as a member of USA Gymnastics' Olympic Development Program. [2]
His hometown was Jasper, Texas, U.S. and he attended Jasper High School. [3] He enrolled at the University of Minnesota to pursue gymnastics.
Strother was a member of the Minnesota Golden Gophers men's gymnastics team, where he became one of the most accomplished gymnasts in program history. [4] He was a four-time NCAA champion, winning individual titles on both the floor and pommel horse at the 2001 and 2002 NCAA gymnastics championships. [4] [5] He was inducted to the Minnesota Golden Gophers Hall of Fame Class of 2016. [4]
Domestically, Strother saw success throughout his career. At Winter Cup, he was first on the floor and pommel horse events en route to a second-place all-around finish at the 2001 Winter Cup. At the USA Gymnastics National Championships, he had top three placements on the floor (2002, 2006), pommel horse (2002, 2007), and vault (2006).
Internationally, Strother represented the United States at the 2003 Pan American Games. Despite being ill at the event, he won two individual medals – silver on floor and bronze on pommel horse – in addition to a team bronze medal. [6] At the 2004 United States Olympic trials, he finished 15th in the all-around, but his results on floor and pommel horse, his two best events, led to him not being selected for the team. [7] He also competed at the 2006 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. [1]
Strother retired from gymnastics in 2008 after the 2007 Good Luck Beijing International Tournament. [8]
Alexander Vladimirovich Artemev is a retired American artistic gymnast. Artemev was a member of the United States men's national artistic gymnastics team and won an Olympic bronze medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics. He is the 2006 all-around U.S. national champion. Known for his ability on the pommel horse, he was the 2007 and 2008 U.S. national champion on the pommel horse and the bronze medalist in the event at the 2006 World Championships.
Samuel Anthony Mikulak is an American gymnastics coach. A retired artistic gymnast, he was a member of the United States men's national artistic gymnastics team. He is a six-time U.S. national all-around champion, the 2018 World bronze medalist on the horizontal bar, and a three-time Olympian. He is also an eight-time NCAA champion, winning the team, individual all-around, and several individual event titles at the 2011, 2013, and 2014 NCAA Men's Gymnastics championships. In 2023, he started serving as a gymnastics coach at EVO Gymnastics.
Guillermo Carlos Alvarez is an American artistic gymnastics coach and former gymnast. He was a member of the United States men's national artistic gymnastics team and won three medals while representing the United States at the 2007 Pan American Games.
Alec Yoder is a retired American artistic gymnast. He was a member of the United States men's national artistic gymnastics team and represented the United States at the 2020 Olympic Games, competing as an individual athlete. He is the 2014 Youth Olympic all-around bronze medalist and the 2019 NCAA champion on pommel horse.
Twin City Twisters, commonly shortened to TCT, is an artistic gymnastics facility located in Champlin, Minnesota. A number of elite and collegiate gymnasts have trained there, including World champions Maggie Nichols and Lexi Zeiss, Olympic medalist Grace McCallum, and Pan American Games champion Jessie Deziel.
Manrique Larduet Bicet is a Cuban artistic gymnast. At the 2015 World Championships, he won the silver medal in the all-around- becoming Cuba's first World all-around medalist. He is also the 2015 World horizontal bar bronze medalist, and he represented Cuba at the 2016 Summer Olympics. He is the 2015 Pan American Games vault champion and all-around silver medalist. He is the 2018 Pan American all-around champion and a two-time Pan American champion on the parallel bars At the 2014 Pan American Sports Festival he won medals in every event, including the all-around gold. He withdrew from the 2020 Summer Olympics due to a dispute with the Cuban Gymnastics Federation, and he now lives and trains in Italy.
Yul Kyung-Tae Moldauer is an American artistic gymnast. He is the 2017 U.S. national all-around champion and the 2017 World bronze medalist on floor exercise. He has been a member of the United States men's national artistic gymnastics team since 2017 and represented the United States at the 2020 Summer Olympics and was a member of the bronze medal-winning team at the 2023 World Championships.
Félix Dolci is a Canadian male artistic gymnast. He represented Canada at the 2024 Summer Olympics. He is the 2023 Pan American Games all-around and floor exercise champion and the 2019 Junior World Champion on rings. He has been a member of the Canadian national team since 2017.

He won a bronze medal with the Hungarian team at the 2020 European Championships. John Brody Malone is an American artistic gymnast. He has been a member of the United States men's national artistic gymnastics team since 2020 and represented the United States at the 2020 and 2024 Olympic Games. He was a member of the bronze medal-winning team at the 2024 Summer Olympics. He is a three-time United States national all-around champion. On horizontal bar, he is the 2021 World Championship bronze medalist and the 2022 World Champion. With three Olympic and World Championship medals, Malone is tied as the ninth most decorated U.S. male gymnast of all time. He is also a ten-time NCAA National Champion.
Shane Michael Wiskus is an American artistic gymnast who is a member of the United States men's national artistic gymnastics team. He represented the United States at the 2020 Summer Olympics and was named as an alternative for the 2024 Summer Olympics. Additionally, he represented the United States at the 2019 World Championships and is a three-time NCAA Champion.
Paul Wojciech Juda is an American artistic gymnast. He is a member of the United States men's national artistic gymnastics team. He was a member of the bronze medal-winning team at the 2023 World Championships and the bronze medal-winning team at the 2024 Olympic Games.
