The Winter Cup is an annual winter gymnastics meet for elite artistic gymnasts of the United States.
The first edition of the Winter Cup was held in 1997 and was initially a men's artistic gymnastics competition. Women competed at the event for the first time in 2021. [1] The competition had a combined senior and junior field until 2018. [2]

The American Cup, formerly known as the AT&T American Cup through a sponsorship arrangement that ended in 2018, was an elite senior level international gymnastics competition that had been held in the United States from 1976 to 2020. It was usually held in February or March of each year. In 2011, it became part of the International Federation of Gymnastics (FIG) Artistic Gymnastics World Cup series. With the exception of 2005, it has been exclusively an all-around competition. Past champions include Olympic all-around champions Nadia Comăneci, Mary Lou Retton, Vitaly Scherbo, Paul Hamm, Carly Patterson, Nastia Liukin, Gabby Douglas, and Simone Biles. The final American Cup took place on March 7, 2020, in Milwaukee.
Elsabeth Ann Black is a Canadian artistic gymnast. She is a three-time Olympian, having represented her country at the 2012, 2016, and 2020 Olympic Games. She is the 2017 World all-around silver medalist, making her the first Canadian gymnast to win a world all-around medal, and she led the Canadian women's gymnastics team to a bronze medal in the 2022 World Championships team final, the first world team medal won by a Canadian gymnastics team. She won a silver medal on the balance beam at the 2022 World Championships. She is also the 2018 Commonwealth Games all-around champion, a two-time Pan American Games all-around champion, and a six-time Canadian national all-around champion. At the 2020 Olympic Games, Black placed fourth in the balance beam final, the highest placement in the Olympics for a female Canadian gymnast.
Alec Yoder is a retired American artistic gymnast. He represented the United States at the 2020 Olympic Games, competing as an individual athlete. He is the 2014 Youth Olympic all-around bronze medalist and the 2019 NCAA champion on pommel horse.
Emma Lauren Malabuyo is a Filipino-American artistic gymnast who represents the Philippines in international competition. She is a five-time member of the U.S. National Team and was an alternate for the 2020 Olympic team. She is currently competing for the UCLA Bruins gymnastics team.
Trinity Lemyra Thomas is an American artistic gymnast and a four-time National Team member (2016–20). She was a member of the gold medal-winning team at the 2018 Pan American Gymnastics Championships, where she also won silver medals in the individual all-around and on the uneven bars, as well as the bronze medalist on balance beam and floor exercise at the 2017 national championships. She was a member of the Florida Gators women's gymnastics team. One of the most successful NCAA gymnasts in history, Thomas finished her collegiate career with a record-tying 28 perfect-10 scores and a record-breaking five Gym Slams.
Jade Ashtyn Carey is an American artistic gymnast who represented the United States at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Best known for her abilities on vault and floor exercise, she is the 2020 Olympic champion on floor exercise, a two-time World medalist, the 2018 Pan American Champion, and a four-time American national silver medalist. On vault, she is the 2022 World champion, a two-time World silver medalist, the 2018 Pan American champion, and a two-time American national champion. She was a member of the teams that won gold at the 2019 World Championships, the 2022 World Championships, and the 2018 Pan American Champion. With a total of eight Olympic and World Championship medals, Carey is the sixth most decorated U.S. female gymnast of all time.
Brooklyn Chloe Moors is a Canadian artistic gymnast who competed at the 2020 Olympic Games. She has also represented Canada at the 2017, 2018, and 2019 World Championships. At the 2017 World Championships she became the first Canadian to win the Longines Prize for Elegance. She is the 2019 Pan American Games champion on the floor exercise and the silver medalist with the team. She is also the 2017 Pan American champion on the floor exercise. She currently competes for the UCLA Bruins in collegiate gymnastics.
Olivia Greaves is an American artistic gymnast and was a member of the United States women's national artistic gymnastics team (2018–2022).
Akash Modi is an American artistic gymnast. He represented the United States at the 2018 and the 2019 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships and was an alternate for the 2016 and 2020 Olympic teams.
The 2021 Winter Cup was an artistic gymnastics competition held at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis. In past iterations it was only for Men's Artistic Gymnastics, however, this competition was the first time that Women's Artistic Gymnastics were included.
Katelyn Jong is an American artistic gymnast and a member of the United States women's national gymnastics team. She is the 2021 U.S. Junior National Champion.
Stephen Nedoroscik is an American artistic gymnast who specializes on the pommel horse. He is the 2021 World Champion and a two-time NCAA National Champion on the event. He is a member of the United States men's national gymnastics team.
Shane Michael Wiskus is an American artistic gymnast who represented the United States at the 2020 Summer Olympics. Additionally, he represented the United States at the 2019 World Championships and is a three-time NCAA Champion.

Asher Keen Wah Hong is an American artistic gymnast and a member of the United States men's national gymnastics team. He was a member of the bronze medal winning team at the 2023 World Championships. His surname (湯) is pronounced Hong when spoken in Taishanese.
Curran Michael Phillips is an American artistic gymnast. He is a member of the United States men's national artistic gymnastics team and is the 2023 Pan American champion on horizontal bar and 2023 Pan American Games champion on parallel bars. He previously competed in collegiate gymnastics for Stanford.
The 2023 Winter Cup is an artistic gymnastics competition that was held at Freedom Hall in Louisville, Kentucky on February 24–26, 2023. Like in recent years, this competition included both men's and women's gymnastics.
