Clear is a fashion, art and luxury and design magazine founded in 2001 by Emin Kadi, also a contributing photographer. [1] [2]
Clear has offices in Royal Oak, Michigan and New York City, New York.
In December 2008, the magazine published its first tree-less, 100% recyclable issue, printed on YUPO synthetic papers, during Design Miami/Art Basel festival at the Miami Design District, where Clear is a media partner.
Clear was 100% digital. In January 2011, it launched a 10-year anniversary application for the iPad, available globally on iTunes. This digital issue, "The Best of Clear Vol. 1" marks the 10-year anniversary of Clear. It is a compilation of the most impressive photos and features from Clear's previous years in print. This issue fills 250+ digital application pages with features such as 360 degree viewer, videos, tap-and-buy for clothing and accessories, pinch enlarge and slide shows.
In April 2011, Clear became the face of Adobe Systems Incorporated's CreativeSuite version 5.5, specifically the new Digital Publishing Suite.
"Taking Clear digital was one of the most exciting things we've done. We wanted a presence on tablet devices and Adobe Creative Suite software and Adobe Digital Publishing Suite paved the way," said Kadi. "Now, with full support for iOS 5 Newsstand subscriptions, we will be able to further monetize our digital editions and make our content more discoverable."

Adobe InDesign is a desktop publishing and page layout designing software application produced by Adobe Inc. It can be used to create works such as posters, flyers, brochures, magazines, newspapers, presentations, books and ebooks. InDesign can also publish content suitable for tablet devices in conjunction with Adobe Digital Publishing Suite. Graphic designers and production artists are the principal users, creating and laying out periodical publications, posters, and print media. It also supports export to EPUB and SWF formats to create e-books and digital publications, including digital magazines, and content suitable for consumption on tablet computers. In addition, InDesign supports XML, style sheets, and other coding markup, making it suitable for exporting tagged text content for use in other digital and online formats. The Adobe InCopy word processor uses the same formatting engine as InDesign.
Adobe Creative Suite (CS) is a discontinued software suite of graphic design, video editing, and web development applications developed by Adobe Systems. Each edition consisted of several Adobe applications, such as Photoshop, Acrobat, Premiere Pro or After Effects, InDesign, and Illustrator, which became industry standard applications for many graphic design positions.
Takashi Murakami is a Japanese contemporary artist. He works in fine arts media as well as commercial and is known for blurring the line between high and low arts. He coined the term "superflat," which describes both the aesthetic characteristics of the Japanese artistic tradition and the nature of postwar Japanese culture and society, and is also used for Murakami's artistic style and other Japanese artists he has influenced.

Daum is a crystal studio based in Nancy, France, founded in 1878 by Jean Daum (1825–1885). His sons, Auguste Daum (1853–1909) and Antonin Daum (1864–1931), oversaw its growth during the burgeoning Art Nouveau period. The Courtray Design Biennale Interieur is a major international design exhibition that takes place once every two years in the Belgian city of Courtray. The first Interieur Design Biennale took place in 1968. The Biennale is organised by the Biennale Interieur npo. During the fair, producers and designers present their innovating interior products to a broad cultural, commercial and professional audience. Over the years, the fair has introduced a number of side activities such as the YoungDesignersFair, Design at Work, Exterieur, lectures and debates.
Motor Yacht A is a superyacht designed by Philippe Starck and engineered by naval architect Martin Francis. It was built by the Blohm + Voss shipyard at the HDW deepwater facility in Kiel. It was ordered in November 2004, and delivered in 2008 at a rumoured cost of US$300 million. With a length of 119 metres (390 ft) and measuring almost 6,000 tonnes, it is one of the largest motor yachts in the world. It is owned by Russian entrepreneur and industrialist Andrey Melnichenko.
Emin Kadi is an American-Albanian fashion photographer, journalist, art director and magazine publisher. Born in Detroit, he studied architecture and later became a fashion model. Kadi later became a self-taught fashion photographer. He is the founder, creative director, contributing photographer and publisher of Clear Magazine. He also started an image branding and app development company called Dfiant Media. He owns and rents several properties throughout the metro-Detroit area.
