Clifford Anthony Benson (born August 28, 1961) is an American former professional football tight end in the National Football League (NFL) for the Atlanta Falcons, Washington Redskins, and New Orleans Saints. He was selected by the Falcons in the fifth round of the 1984 NFL draft. [1] He played for Alan B. Shepard High School in Palos Heights, Illinois. [2] He played college football at Purdue University and was drafted in the fifth round of the 1984 NFL draft. [3]
