Climbin' the Walls is the debut studio album by American heavy metal band Wrathchild America, released in 1989 by Atlantic Records. The album was moderately successful, becoming the band's only album to chart on the Billboard 200, where it peaked at #190. [1] A music video for "Climbin' the Walls" was released to promote this album.

Climbin' the Walls received generally positive reviews. Eduardo Rivadavia from AllMusic gave the album a score of two stars out of five, and said that it is "full of speedy, muscular riffs, complex time changes, and superb drumming." [2]

Tristania was a Norwegian gothic metal band formed in 1996 by Morten Veland, Einar Moen and Kenneth Olsson. Tristania's music is usually classified as Gothic metal with death influences, due to its strong tie and legacy within the gothic metal history. Their songs largely dealt with dark and sentimental topics, including depression, sadness, suicide, love, absence, and anger.
Never Surrender is the sixth studio album by Canadian hard rock band Triumph, released in 1982. Before settling on the Wrathchild America name in 1988, the band had performed under the names Atlantis, Tyrant, and Wrathchild. They released two studio albums through Atlantic Records, and gained charting success through the Billboard 200. In 1992, they changed their name to Souls at Zero. The band is also notable for including one-time Kix member Brad Divens, and a then-unknown Shannon Larkin, who went on to become the drummer for many bands such as Ugly Kid Joe, Candlebox, and Godsmack.
