Clintonville is an unincorporated community in Bourbon County, Kentucky, United States. Clintonville African American Cemetery Number 1. There is a Rich history of African American culture that is not noted or documented here.

The community was named for the local Masonic Lodge, which was named for New York Governor DeWitt Clinton.
Clintonville School opened in September 1925, offering one year of high school in addition to the first eight grades. The original building had four classrooms on the first floor. On the second floor there were two classrooms, a small auditorium, and a stage with dressing rooms behind. The addition of indoor plumbing, the gymnasium, and the first cafeteria were completed in 1936. In 1957 three classrooms, a kitchen, cafeteria, bathroom facilities, and the principal's office were added.

Eleutherian College, which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993 and declared a National Historic Landmark in 1997, was founded as Eleutherian Institute in 1848 by a group of local anti-slavery Baptists at Lancaster in Jefferson County. The institute's name comes from the Greek word eleutheros, meaning "freedom and equality." The school admitted students without regard to ethnicity or gender, including freed and fugitive slaves. Its first classes began offering secondary school instruction on November 27, 1848. The school was renamed Eleutherian College in 1854, when it began offering college-level coursework. It is the second college in the United States west of the Allegheny Mountains and the first in Indiana to provide interracial education. The restored three-story stone chapel and classroom building was constructed between 1853 and 1856 and presently serves as a local history museum.
Bluegrass Community and Technical College (BCTC) is a public community college in Lexington, Kentucky. It is one of sixteen two-year, open admission colleges of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS). It was formed from the consolidation of two separate institutions: Lexington Community College and Central Kentucky Technical College. Lexington Community College was the last remaining college in the University of Kentucky Community College System until a vote by the trustees transferred governance to KCTCS in 2004. Prior to 1984, the college was named Lexington Technical Institute. Central Kentucky Technical College was part of the Workforce Development Cabinet of the Kentucky State Government until the creation of KCTCS in 1997. KCTCS was formed in 1997 by the state legislature through House Bill 1 which combined the technical colleges of the Workforce Development Cabinet and the community colleges previously with the University of Kentucky. BCTC is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).
Midway University is a private Christian university in Midway, Kentucky. Related by covenant to the Christian Church, it enrolls approximately 1,900 students earning two-year and four-year degrees as well as master's degrees. Midway was the only women's college in Kentucky until 2016 when it began admitting male undergraduate students.
Gatton College of Business and Economics is a college of the University of Kentucky. Gatton College educates more than 4,000 undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students in accounting, economics, finance, management, and marketing and supply chain management. Founded in 1925 as the College of Commerce, the college was created from the Department of Economics and was given full accreditation by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International. Initially the college occupied a single room in White Hall. In 1995, the Board of Trustees renamed the college in honor of Mr. Carol Martin "Bill" Gatton, '54, in recognition of his $14 million pledge. The donation was the largest in the history of the university. The current dean is Simon J. Sheather. The college is located in central campus along South Limestone.

Wechsler School is a historic school in Meridian, Mississippi erected in 1894. The school was the first brick public school building in Mississippi built with public funds for African-American children. It originally served primary through eighth grades but was later expanded to include high school as well. The school was named in honor of Rabbi Judah Wechsler of Congregation Beth Israel, who had led and inspired Meridian public to approve a bond issue to raise money for construction of the school. The school was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991 and designated a Mississippi Landmark in 1993.

Lewis and Clark High School is a four-year public secondary school in Spokane, Washington, United States. Opened in 1912, it is located at 521 W. Fourth Ave. in the Cliff/Cannon neighborhood of downtown Spokane, bounded by I-90 to the north and MultiCare Deaconess Hospital to the west. It replaced South Central High School, destroyed by fire in 1910, and was named for the two leaders of the Corps of Discovery.
Scott High School is located at 5400 Old Taylor Mill Road in Taylor Mill, Kentucky. The school's athletic teams are known as the "Eagles". The school is one of three high schools operated by the Kenton County School District. It opened for classes in 1978, where it originally featured an open classroom design. This school is widely known for its prestigiousness, having a 5% acceptance rate. Scott High School sits on a 78-acre (320,000 m2) campus that is shared with Woodland Middle School which was built in 1988. The campus includes a football field, softball and two baseball fields, lighted soccer field, tennis courts and is the only high school in Kenton County with an indoor pool. Scott now has a new wing addition with additional rooms, bigger lockers, smart classrooms, etc. that finished in the summer of 2014. Scott has approximately 1100 students and 65 faculty members. As of the 2022–2023 school year, Alan Yanke is the principal. Starting in 2012, the school has undergone massive renovation and construction including multiple new wings, which added a new cafeteria and library, as well as smart classrooms. The most recent addition was completed before the start of the 2019–2020 school year.
