Clora Williams (born 26 November 1983) is a Jamaican sprinter who specialized in the 400 metres. She is also known as a relay runner, winning a gold medal at the 2010 Central American and Caribbean Games and a silver medal at the 2006 Central American and Caribbean Games. She was also disqualified from a relay bronze at the 2010 World Indoor Championships due to an infraction by a team member.
Williams competed collegiately for the Texas A&M Aggies in the mid-2000s. [1] She is best known for winning the 400 meters event at the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships in 2006. She ran in 51.06 in the semi-final and 51.11 in the final. 51.06 seconds was a huge improvement from her personal best the year before, 54.24 seconds, and would remain her lifeteime best. [2] It was also the school record for the Texas A&M University. [1]
The same year, Williams also picked up a bronze medal in the 400 meters at the 2006 NACAC U23 Championships (52.40) and finished fifth at the 2006 Central American and Caribbean Games. [2] She also won a silver medal in the 4 × 400 meters relay at the 2006 Central American and Caribbean Games.
In 2006 she took the Big 12 championship titles both indoor and outdoor. During the NCAA Division I indoor championships of 2007, she won a gold medal in the 4 × 400 metres relay. She also won the Big 12 indoor championships of 2007, took the silver medal at the Big 12 outdoor championships and finished fifth individually at the 2007 NCAA Division I Outdoor Championships. At the 2007 NACAC Championships she won the silver medals individually [2] as well as in the 4 x 400 meters relay.
In 2008 and 2009 she competed extensively in Europe and the Americas, but at no international championships. She then participated in the 4 × 400 metres relay at the 2010 World Indoor Championships, but the Jamaican team was disqualified. [2] Originally, Williams won a bronze medal together with Bobby-Gaye Wilkins, Davita Prendergast and Novlene Williams-Mills in a Jamaican indoor record of 3:28.49 (also a Central American and Caribbean record). [3] However, Bobby-Gaye Wilkins failed her drug test at the competition, which caused the disqualification of the whole Jamaican team. [4]
At the 2010 Central American and Caribbean Games Williams won a gold medal in the 4 × 400 metres relay and finished fourth in the individual 400 meters (53.04). [2] In 2011 she switched to mainly competing in the 800 meters event. After a bronze medal in that event at the 2011 Jamaican championships, she competed in the same event at the 2011 Central American and Caribbean Championships, but did not finish the final race. Her lifetime best in the 800 meters was also from the same year, 2:03.90 minutes achieved in July 2011 in Halifax. [2]

Yvonne Harrison Castro, also spelled Ivonne is a Puerto Rican athlete who specialized in the 400 metres hurdles. She competed at two World Junior Championships, two World Championships, one World Indoor Championships and one Olympic Games.
Novlene Hilaire Williams-Mills, is a retired Jamaican track and field athlete. She won the bronze medal in the 400 metres at the 2007 World Championships. She is also a three-time Olympic silver medallist in the 4×400 metres relay. In 2015 she won relay gold alongside her Jamaican teammates.
The 4 × 400 metres relay or long relay is an athletics track event in which teams consist of four runners who each complete 400 metres or one lap, totaling 1600 meters. It is traditionally the final event of a track meet. The first leg and the first bend of the second leg are run in lanes. Start lines are thus staggered over a greater distance than in an individual 400 metres race; the runners then typically move to the inside of the track. The slightly longer 4 × 440 yards relay, on an Imperial distance, was a formerly run British Commonwealth and American event, until metrication was completed in the 1970s.
Shericka Williams is a Jamaican former sprinter. Together with Novlene Williams-Mills, Ronetta Smith and Lorraine Fenton she won a silver medal in 4 × 400 metres relay at the 2005 World Championships in Athletics. She also competed in the individual contest, but was knocked out in the semifinal. Two years later, she won another silver medal in the 4 × 400 metres relay event at the 2007 World Championships in Athletics, this time with Shereefa Lloyd, Davita Prendergast and Novlene Williams-Mills. The team set a national record in that race, finishing second to the United States in a time of 3:19.73.
Bertland "Bert" Cameron is a retired Jamaican sprinter who mainly competed over 400 metres. He represented Jamaica at three consecutive editions of the Summer Olympics. Cameron won the 400 m title at the first World Championships in Athletics. He was also the 1982 Commonwealth Games champion in the event and won a number of gold medals at regional competitions. He helped the Jamaican runners to a silver medal in the 4×400 metres relay at the 1988 Seoul Olympics.
Lerone Ephraime Clarke is a Jamaican track and field sprinter who specialises in the 100 metres and the 60 metres. He is the former Commonwealth Games champion in the 100 m. His personal best for that distance is 9.99 seconds, set in 2009. He has represented Jamaica three times at the IAAF World Indoor Championships and holds the Jamaican record for the indoor 150m.

Michael Walter Mathieu is a retired Bahamian sprinter hailing from Freeport, Grand Bahama who specialized in the 200 metres and 400 metres. He was part of the Bahamian silver medal-winning team in the men's 4×400 metres relay at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, running second leg and recording a 44.0 split, and the gold medal-winning team at the 2012 Summer Olympics. He was also a part of second place relay team at the 2007 World Championships. He won the bronze medal in the 4x400 metres relay in the 2016 Summer Olympics.
Shellene Williams is a retired female track and field sprinter from Jamaica. She specialized in the 200 metres and the 400 metres. Her personal best time in the women's 200 metres was 23.50 seconds, achieved in May 2004, and her 400 m best was 51.94 seconds, set in June 2004. Williams won a bronze medal in the women's 4×100 metres relay at the 2003 Pan American Games, alongside Lacena Golding-Clarke, Judyth Kitson, and Danielle Browning.
