Club Goa was a 2005 Swedish TV show in which STRIX Television's 12 most famous reality TV stars went on a bar tour to Goa, India. In 2005, several reality shows had been aired in Sweden on the commercial channels TV3, TV4 and Kanal 5, as well as on SVT, for a couple of years and produced quite a few celebrities in the process. TV3 took it on themselves to gather the most famous Swedish reality show participants from such shows, including Expedition Robinson, Big Brother, Baren[which?], and so forth to run a restaurant in Drop Anchor, Goa, India. The show was never a big success on TV3. The show was filmed in Drop Anchor, Goa. Hosts of this particular show were Dilip Seta and Rakesh Mathur
Club Goa was built upon strong characters and big cultural challenges. In the first series there were former reality TV participants from various shows that were highly familiar to the audience. The journey ended at a beach club in Goa, where celebrities were not just expected to work as bartenders, but also to take responsibility for the bar, the restaurant, marketing, and big events. One after another they were forced to leave the party and return home to a freezing winter. The last one standing on the beach won $500,000.
Parts of the show
Missions to accomplish: For 13 weeks, the celebrities had to successfully run the beach club. Their assignment was to take care of all PR, marketing, events, and serving food and drinks. For the first 8 weeks the participants were divided into two teams. Each week a competition was held that could involve all or just a few of the participants. The competitions were often related to the work at the beach club in some way.
Nomination meeting: Each week, the losing team of the week held a nomination meeting, where they chose the ones who were directly nominated to the weekly final club meeting, where they would risk losing their place in Club Goa. The nominated participant then got to choose who would be sitting on the other "hot seat" in the voting (who would be the election opponent).
Warnings from the program host: The program host could give warnings to participants by handing out yellow cards to anyone who had behaved poorly. The program host also had authority to disqualify participants by giving them a red card. Upon receiving a red card, the participant had to immediately leave Club Goa.
Club meeting: Five days a week, the audience could follow the participants' adventures. Social, professional, and cultural challenges were constantly recurring ingredients. The fifth day would conclude with an elimination process at the club meeting, where the participants would decide which one of them would be forced to leave Club Goa.
The final battle: After 8 weeks the teams were unified into one again. From this point, all remaining participants battled in an individual competition, where only one could be the winner at the end.

The losing team had a vote on which team member that was to leave the show.
In the final all participants voted on the finalist they preferred.
The participants got different numbers of votes depending on how many weeks they had lasted.
The finalist with the most votes won the reality show.

Robinsonekspedisjonen: 1999, was the first season of the Norwegian version of the Swedish show Expedition Robinson and it premiered on 19 September 1999 and aired until 5 December 1999. Keeping with the tradition of the Swedish version, the two tribes were simply named "Lag Nord" and "Lag Sør". As Christer was seen as the mastermind of the dominant alliance this season and was also seen as the best player, he would take over as host of the show from season 2 on. Unlike Expedition Robinson, the Norwegian version of the show did not meet the expectations of TV3; however, it was renewed for several more seasons.
Robinson Ekspeditionen is a popular Danish reality television program debuting in 1998. In the spring of 1998 TV3 purchased the broadcast rights to air their own version of Expedition Robinson. Expedition Robinson 2000, was the second and final season of the Swiss version of the reality show Expedition Robinson, or Survivor as it is referred to in some countries to air in Switzerland and it was broadcast on TV3 from March 12, 2000 to June 11, 2000. An immediate twist that occurred this season was that the contestants were initially split into two tribes based on gender. In episode one, Daniel Sauter suffered an injury at camp and had to be evacuated from the game. Sauter was later replaced by Hansjürg Binzegger. Both Alessandra Angiuli and Manfred Breitschmid were eliminated from the game in episode two when the contestants were split up into two tribes of seven, one being the Nordcamp and the other being the Südcamp, based on a school yard style pick. Following a duel in episode four, South Team member Sascha Negele was moved to the North Team. In episode six the two tribes merged into the Tengah tribe and shortly after the fifth tribal council the "black vote" twist was introduced into the game. The black vote twist allowed a player that was voted out at one tribal council to cast a vote at the following tribal council. In episode seven, a joker, Ivana Bolzano, entered the game. When it came time for the final five, the contestants took part in a series of challenges in which the winner would be able to eliminate any of the losers they wanted to. Maddalena Haug, Sascha Negele, and Dayana Zgraggen all failed to win a challenge and were eliminated. Ultimately, it was Stefanie Ledermann who won this season over Martina Pérez with 5-3 jury vote.
Expedition Robinson was the Central European version of Expedition Robinson. The name alludes to both Robinson Crusoe and The Swiss Family Robinson, two stories featuring people marooned by shipwrecks.
Baltic Robinson: 2004 was the fourth version of Expedition Robinson to be filmed and aired in Malaysia. The season aired from 11 September, 2004 until December 18, 2004 and is based upon a format originally devised by the now-defunct British production company, Planet 24.
Meral Izabelle Tasbas is a Swedish television personality, singer, actress and television host. Tasbas is known for appearing as a contestant on all five seasons of the reality show The Bar between 2000 and 2004 on TV3 and for hosting her own television show on TV3 called Meral-TV.
