"Billie Jean" is a song by American singer Michael Jackson, released by Epic Records on January 2, 1983, as the second single from Jackson's sixth studio album, Thriller (1982). It was written and composed by Jackson and produced by Jackson and Quincy Jones. "Billie Jean" blends post-disco, rhythm and blues, funk and dance-pop. The lyrics describe a woman, Billie Jean, who claims that the narrator is the father of her newborn son, which he denies. Jackson said the lyrics were based on groupies' claims about his older brothers when he toured with them as the Jackson 5.
Boyzone were an Irish boy band, created in 1993 by talent manager Louis Walsh. Before even recording any material, Boyzone made an appearance on RTÉ's The Late Late Show. Their most successful line-up was composed of Keith Duffy, Stephen Gately, Mikey Graham, Ronan Keating, and Shane Lynch. As of 2018, Boyzone have released seven studio albums and nine compilation albums.
Cappella is an Italian Eurodance music group formed in 1987 by producer Gianfranco Bortolotti. The act went through a number of line-up changes over the years but was most successful in the early 1990s when it was fronted by British performers Kelly Overett and Rodney Bishop. Their biggest hit was "U Got 2 Let the Music", which reached No. 2 on the UK Singles Chart in 1993.
Mauro Picotto is an Italian electronic music producer and DJ, and previously a member of the Italian Euro house group "R.A.F.". He became well known as a solo artist with songs including "Komodo ", "Pulsar", "Iguana", and "Lizard". He has collaborated with other electronica/trance musicians such as Tiësto and Mario Più.
49ers were an Italian house and Eurodance act, featuring producers and DJs Gianfranco Bortolotti, Luca Cittadini, Diego Leoni and Pieradis Rossini with vocalist Ann-Marie Smith. They were named after the San Francisco 49ers American football team, and because former vocalist Dawn Mitchell was the 49th vocalist to audition.
"Who Is It" is a song by American recording artist Michael Jackson. The song was written and composed by Jackson, and produced by Jackson and Bill Bottrell. The song's lyrics pertain to despair over being left by someone you love; some critics noted a comparison to the lyrics of the song to Jackson's single "Billie Jean" from the album Thriller. As part of the promotion for the song, two music videos were released in 1992. The song was not performed by Jackson on any of his world concert tours. He did, however, perform a small segment of the song in his interview with Oprah Winfrey in early 1993.
"Stars on 45" is a song medley issued in January 1981 by Dutch studio group Stars on 45. In some countries, including the UK, Ireland and New Zealand, the band was credited as 'Starsound' and only the medley itself was named "Stars on 45".
"Oh L'amour" is a song by English synthpop duo Erasure, released in April 1986 as their third single. Written by Erasure members Vince Clarke and Andy Bell, it is a lament from someone experiencing unrequited love ("broke my heart / now I'm aching for you").

"No Matter What" is a song from the 1996 musical Whistle Down the Wind that was popularised by Irish boyband Boyzone in 1998 when they recorded it to tie in with the show's first UK production. The song was written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Jim Steinman, while Lloyd Webber, Steinman and Nigel Wright produced the track, with additional production by Franglen & Lupino. The song was also featured on the US edition of the soundtrack to the 1999 film Notting Hill, and was released to American radio on 10 May 1999.
"U Got 2 Let the Music" is a song by Italian group Cappella. It was released in 1993 as the fourth single from their second studio album, U Got 2 Know. The song had a great success in many countries including the UK, where it reached number two on the singles chart, becoming the 36th best-selling single of 1993 in the UK. It was held off from the top spot only by Meat Loaf's "I'd Do Anything for Love ". In Austria, Finland and Switzerland, "U Got 2 Let the Music" peaked at number one. The song did also chart in Australia, Japan and Southeast Asia.
"Move on Baby" is a song by Italian group Cappella, released on 10 February 1994 as the fifth single from their second studio album, U Got 2 Know (1994). It is written by Gianfranco Bortolotti, Ricardo Overman, Diego Leoni, Lorenzo Carpella, Alessandro Pasinelli and Bruno Guerrini. Bortolotti produced the song and it achieved great success in many countries, particularly in Finland, Israel, the Netherlands and Switzerland, where it topped the chart. It received gold status in Austria, Belgium, France, Germany and Switzerland.
"Do It Again Medley with Billie Jean" is a song by the Italian music project Club House, released in 1983. The song combines elements of two hits made famous by other artists: "Do It Again", a 1973 top-ten hit by Steely Dan and Michael Jackson's number-one song from earlier in the year, "Billie Jean".
"Yé ké yé ké" is a song by Guinean recording artist Mory Kanté. It was released in 1987 as a single from his third studio album, Akwaba Beach. The song became an international hit; it was one of Africa's best-ever selling hits as well as being a European number one in 1988, making it the first ever African single to sell over one million copies. The song was a top five hit in France, Switzerland, Germany and the Netherlands, where it topped the chart for two weeks. A remix, the "Afro Acid Mix" was especially made for UK release, where it reached No. 25. In 1994, German techno duo Hardfloor remixed the song and released this new version with moderate success. A Bollywood song, "Tamma Tamma Loge", also used the music in this song.
"Touch Me" is a 1989 Italo house song by Italian group 49ers. Produced by Gianfranco Bortolotti, it was released as the third single from the album, 49ers on 4 December 1989. It reached number three on the UK Singles Chart and was a Top 10 hit in at least 10 other countries in Europe. Outside Europe, it was the first of four hits on the American dance charts for the 49ers. It samples Aretha Franklin's "Rock-A-Lott" and Alisha Warren's "Touch Me".
East Side Beat were an Italian music group, which achieved success in Europe in the early 1990s. Fronted by a line up of Italian-American vocalist Carl Fanini and Italian keyboardist Francesco Petrocchi, the act was masterminded by producers Giovanni Cinaglia and Luca Capretti. Signed to Gianfranco Bortolotti's Media Records, they released their first single in 1991. This was a dance cover of Christopher Cross's "Ride Like the Wind" and became a hit throughout Europe, peaking at No.3 in the UK, which was to be their biggest market.
"U & Me" is a song by the Italian group Cappella, released on 6 June 1994 via Axis Records and Red Bullet labels as the sixth single from their second studio album, U Got 2 Know. It features vocals by Vikki Sheperd, sampled from her song "Love Has Changed My Mind". The single experienced success in many European countries, particularly in Finland where it peaked at number-one for two weeks. It also peaked within the Top 10 in Italy, the Netherlands, Scotland and the UK.

The single was a top 10 hit in Ireland and the UK, peaking at number seven and number six. On the UK Dance Singles Chart, it peaked at number one. It contains an uncredited interpolation of "Happy House" (1980) by British rock band Siouxsie & The Banshees and an uncredited vocal sample of "You Used To Hold Me" (1987) by Ralphi Rosario & Xaviera Gold. Vocalist Anna Ross and rapper MC Fixx It were chosen by producer Bortolotti for live performances. Cappella was later sued by Siouxsie & The Banshees for failure to pay publishing royalties and lost. In 2002, new remixes were released as "U Got 2 Know 2002".
