Buzău (river)

The Buzău is a river in eastern Romania, tributary of the river Siret. Its total length is 302 km, and its drainage basin area is 5,264 km2. Its source is in the south-eastern Carpathian Mountains, east of Brașov. The Buzău flows through the Romanian counties Brașov, Covasna, Buzău and Brăila. It flows into the Siret in Voinești, close to its confluence with the Danube, west of Galați.

Trotuș

The Trotuș is a river in eastern Romania, a right tributary of the river Siret. It emerges from the Ciuc Mountains in the Eastern Carpathians and joins the Siret in Domnești-Sat near Adjud after passing through Comănești and Onești in Bacău County. The total length of the Trotuș from its source to its confluence with the Siret is 162 km (101 mi). Its basin area is 4,456 km2 (1,720 sq mi).

The Slănic is a left tributary of the river Buzău in Romania. It discharges into the Buzău in Săpoca. Its length is 73 km (45 mi) and its basin size is 580 km2 (220 sq mi). The following villages are situated along the river Slănic, from source to mouth: Terca, Luncile, Lopătari, Săreni, Mânzălești, Beșlii, Sârbești, Vintilă Vodă, Bodinești, Niculești, Podu Muncii, Petrăchești, Dogari, Arbănași, Gura Dimienii, Mărgăriți, Beceni, Valea Părului, Cărpiniștea, Izvoru Dulce, Fulga, Aldeni, Manasia, Căldărușa, Zărneștii de Slănic, Vlădeni, Cernătești and Săpoca.

The Ghimbășel is a left tributary of the river Bârsa in Romania. Its source is in the northern part of the Bucegi Mountains. Originally it discharged directly into the Olt, but much of its flow has been diverted into the Bârsa, another tributary of the Olt, near Colonia Bod. Its length is 67 km (42 mi) and its basin size is 533 km2 (206 sq mi). The former lower course of the Ghimbășel, downstream of this diversion, still exists and is used for the discharge of local inflows. It flows into the Olt north of Bod. Its length is 6 km (3.7 mi) and its basin size is 8 km2 (3.1 sq mi).

The Geoagiu is a right tributary of the river Mureș in Transylvania, Romania. It discharges into the Mureș in Teiuș. Its length is 49 km (30 mi) and its basin size is 187 km2 (72 sq mi).
