Coco Electrik is an electropop band and musical alias of Australian (now UK based) singer, musician and songwriter Anne Booty [1] and producer Paul Harrison aka Royal Appointment.

History

Coco Electrik first surfaced with Your Love Is Gum, [2] a split single with then label mate Tom Vek. A series of acclaimed singles [3] followed on Tummy Touch Records and Anne's own label, Oscillation Records. In 2007 they released debut album Army Behind The Sun. She has also lent vocals to Acoustic Ladyland's much praised [4] Cuts & Lies single from their album Skinny Grin, been featured on the soundtrack to The Coen Brother's Burn After Reading [5] and cult Australian drama Underbelly [6] and remixed by Brooklyn wunderkind Kotchy and The Phenomenal Handclap Band as well as being remixed by, amongst others, Mickey Moonlight (Ed Banger Records) and Skylab. "Apple Pie" (Skylab Remix) by Coco Electrik currently soundtracks Target Australia's Effortless Denim campaign. [7]

2010/11 has seen the release of their second album White Ink, which was given a 8/10 rating by [8] Vice magazine. The albums was written and recorded by Coco Electrik catalyst Anne Booty and long-term recording partner Paul Harrison (Royal Appointment) and features appearances from George Demure (Output Recordings, Tirk Recordings) Kreeps (Output Recordings) and Pete Wareham (Acoustic Ladyland, Polar Bear). The album was mastered by Robert Harder. [9] Their single "Your Love Is Gum" features in episode of Fox 8's Australian drama, Slide .

In 2013, "Pussyfooter" (Ju.Do Remix) by Coco Electrik [10] [11] soundtracks the Target USA Fall Style campaign that premiered during every ad break of the 2013 Emmy Awards.

Melt Yourself Down are a London-based band who incorporate elements of West African musical styles (afrobeat), punk, jazz and funk. Founded in January 2012, the band is led by saxophonist Pete Wareham, former leader of now defunct jazz/punk band Acoustic Ladyland and saxophonist in British jazz band Polar Bear. The original line-up included saxophonist Shabaka Hutchings, drummer Tom Skinner, vocalist Kushal Gaya, bassist Ruth Goller and percussionist Satin Singh.

Dallas James Koehlke, better known by his stage name DallasK, is an American DJ, record producer, and singer based in Los Angeles. Active since 2010, he co-wrote and produced Fifth Harmony's 5× platinum single, "Work From Home," as well as their singles "Down" and "He Like That..." off of their self titled album. In addition, Dallas co-wrote and co-produced Lauv's singles "Sad Forever," and "Breathe" off Lauv's debut album. He has past cuts with Tiesto, Chromeo, Krewella, KSHMR, Terror Jr. Miquela, Joel Deleōn, Key & Stray Kids. He is also known for his collaborations with Hardwell and Tiësto: "Area 51" and "Show Me" are ranked first and third in the Top 100 on downloading platform Beatport. He is signed to Amigo Records and has had past releases with Musical Freedom, Revealed Recordings and Ultra Music.

The discography of Australian hip hop group Hilltop Hoods consists of seven studio albums, one compilation albums, six extended plays (EPs), twenty-four singles and three DVDs. Their debut studio album A Matter of Time was released independently in 1999.
