The first season of the Pakistani music television series Coke Studio Pakistan commenced airing on 6 February 2008 and ended on 18 April 2008.
The show was produced by The Coca-Cola Company and Rohail Hyatt. The production team included Rohail Hyatt as the executive producer along with Umber Hyatt and Nofil Naqvi being the producers of the show. Natasha De Souza and Naseer-ud-din Wasif served as production team members. [1]
Artists featured in the show included, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Ali Azmat, Ali Zafar, Ustaad H. B Gullo, Saieen Tufail Ahmed, Ahsan Farooq, Strings, Sajid & Zeeshan, Saba & Selina and Mauj.
The show also featured a house band which had some of the high-profile musicians in the country including, Omran Shafique on guitars, Kamran Zafar on bass guitars, Zeeshan Parwez on keyboards and turntables, Louis 'Gumby' Pinto on drums. Other members of the house band included, Saba Shabbir, Athar Sani and Selina Rashid on backing vocals along with Babar Khanna, Zulfiq 'Shazee' Ahmed Khan and The Abdul Latif Band on percussions. [2]
The first episode aired on 8 June, followed by the second episode being aired on 29 June. The third episode was aired on all locals channels on 20 July and the show came to an end on 4 August, which also rebroadcast three songs, "Sar Kiye" by Strings, "Garaj Baras" by Ali Azmat featuring Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and "Allah Hu" by Tufail Ahmed and Ali Zafar, from the previous episodes.

The Music of Pakistan includes diverse elements ranging from music from various parts of South Asia as well as Central Asian, Middle Eastern, and modern-day Western popular music influences. With these multiple influences, a distinctive Pakistani music has emerged.
Asad Ahmed is a Pakistani guitarist. His first stint was forming The Barbarians. He has been a member of the famous pop trio Awaz, has played with Junoon, Vital Signs and was a founding member of the rock band Karavan. Asad is considered as the founder of Rock Music in Pakistan. He is currently a Solo Artist.
Fire Records (Pakistan) was a Pakistani record label owned by AAG TV. It managed many artists between 2006 and 2013. According to Pakistan's The News on Sunday, the label held a virtual monopoly over major music releases in Pakistan in the mid-to-late 2000s. The record label has been a subject of controversy since its inception and after it ceased operations as being responsible for the decline of the Pakistani music industry.
Coke Studio Pakistan is a Pakistani television programme and a part of the international music franchise, Coke Studio, which features studio-recorded music performances by established and emerging artists. It is the longest-running annual television music show in Pakistan, airing annually since 2008. The programme's concept originated in Brazil and has subsequently expanded its reach worldwide.
The Multan Tigers was a Pakistani Domestic T20 and List A cricket team based in Multan, Punjab, Pakistan. The team was established in 2004 and its home ground is the Multan Cricket Stadium. The manager of the Tigers is Sheikh Saleem.

His discography consists of three studio albums, songs from Pakistani films, Hindi films and Hollywood films, and many other popular songs. He predominantly sings in (Urdu) and Punjabi. He has also sung a song in Bengali. He also recited Adhan in 2020.
"Garaj Baras" is the seventh track on the 2003 album Dewaar by the sufi rock band Junoon. The song is written by the band's vocalist, Ali Azmat and lyricist, Sabir Zafar. The single was selected as part of a Bollywood movie soundtrack in 2003 for the film Paap directed by Pooja Bhatt. The song topped the charts in both India and Pakistan in 2004.
The third season of the Pakistani music television series Coke Studio Pakistan commenced airing on 1 June 2010 and ended on 31 July 2010.
The fourth season of the Pakistani music television series Coke Studio Pakistan commenced airing on 22 May 2011 and ended on 17 July 2011.
The sixth season of the Pakistani music television series Coke Studio Pakistan premiered on 20 October 2013 and concluded on 5 January 2014. All songs were arranged and produced by Rohail Hyatt. The show was produced at Rohail Hyatt's production company, Frequency Media Pvt. Ltd., and distributed by Coca-Cola Pakistan.
The seventh season of the Pakistani music television series Coke Studio Pakistan premiered on 21 September 2014 and aired its final episode on 22 November 2014. Previously, it was scheduled to premiere on 7 September 2014, but was delayed due to an ongoing political crisis which caught the media attention everywhere. Season premiered under the tagline of Sound of the Nation.
The eighth season of the Pakistani music television series Coke Studio Pakistan premiered on 16 August 2015 and aired its finale on 4 October 2015. It aired a weekly episode every Sunday on various channels across Pakistan. The season was revived under the tagline of The Sound of Nation.
The ninth season of the Pakistani music television series Coke Studio Pakistan commenced airing in Pakistan on 13 August 2016, concluded on 24 September 2016 and contained seven episodes. Season nine aired Fridays (digitally) and Saturdays (televised), on various timings and channels across the country.

He debuted as a singer with song "Channo" in 2003, and sang his first movie song "Jugnuon Se Bhar De Aanchal" in the same year. He has also sang for Hindi cinema from 2010 to 2016. His discography also includes songs for Pakistani films and dramas. He also has released many singles, covers, poetries, and has sung for TV commercials and brands, notably Coke Studio, ISPR, and Pakistan Super League.
Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is a Pakistani singer, who has sung several songs in Pakistan and India, including the Pakistani film and drama industries, as well as Coke Studio and Bollywood. He is a well-known Qawwali singer, and has also sung many national songs and ghazals.
"Tera Woh Pyar" is a Pakistani Urdu-language song by Shuja Haider. Originally released in 2004 as a single, the song gained newfound popularity in 2016 when it was performed on Coke Studio
"Man Aamadeh Am" is a Persian song, sung by Iranian singer Googoosh for the album Pol in 1975. The song was written by Googoosh’s Afghan friend Jalil Zaland and gifted to Googoosh after she visited Afghanistan.
