The fifth season of the Pakistani music television series Coke Studio Pakistan commenced airing on 13 May 2012. The season consisted of five episodes, which aired on 13 May, 27 May, 10 June, 24 June and 8 July respectively. [1]

Production

The fifth season saw the return of Bilal Khan, Fareed Ayaz & Abu Muhammad, Atif Aslam and Meesha Shafi, all artists who had previously performed on Coke Studio. Folk singers Tahir Mithu and Chakwal group were among the vocalists. In the house band, Louis 'Gumby' Pinto left the show because he was the executive producer of the show Uth Records by Ufone. Jaffer Ali Zaidi also left the show and was replaced by Mubashir Admani. Raheel Manzar Paul and Zulfiq 'Shazee' Ahmed Khan also departed from the show. Farhad Humayun was recruited as the new drummer for the fifth series. The season featured 5 episodes, each with 5 songs, making a total of 25 songs. The show was produced by Rohail Hyatt's production company, Frequency Media Pvt. Ltd., and distributed by Coca-Cola Pakistan. [2] [3]

Aaye Kuch Abr is a poem written by famous Urdu poet Faiz Ahmad Faiz. It was written during Faiz's life of isolation and separation, while he was lodged in Hyderabad Central Jail during the Rawalpindi conspiracy case. He was away from his wife and two daughters. After being separated from his family, Faiz spent months without seeing them. A few steps ahead of time, Faiz found himself misunderstood in the society in which he lived. Aaye Kuch Abr took this step in Faiz's life but he stands with hope.

Wohi Khuda Hai is a hamd. The poem was written by Pakistani Urdu poet and lyricist, Muzaffar Warsi. It praises God as the Only Creator of the large system of Universe that runs and maintains the order with harmony and balance. It has been sung and covered multiple times across the globe by many artists. Some famous of them are given here.

The 2020 edition of the Pakistani Music television series Coke Studio Pakistan, titled as Coke Studio 2020, commenced airing on 4 December 2020 and concluded on 25 December 2020. The season was produced by show's founder Rohail Hyatt and distributed by Coca-Cola Pakistan.

<i>Coke Studio Pakistan</i> season 14 Fourteenth television season of Coke Studio Pakistan

The fourteenth season of the Pakistani music television series Coke Studio Pakistan was produced by Zulfiqar Jabbar Khan after Rohail Hyatt stepped down from the role. Coca-Cola Pakistan was the executive producer of the show. Season 14 featured 13 original songs, each with its own visuals, and ran from 14 January 2022 to 22 March 2022.
