Colin Bryce (born 4 August 1974, in Newcastle upon Tyne) is a former Great Britain Olympic bobsledder, Strongman, now working as a television presenter and producer. He currently works as a sports commentator for the BBC, ESPN, Fox Sports, Eurosport, Channel Five, Channel 4 and CBBC.
Although born in Newcastle, Bryce grew up in Craigie, Perthshire, as well as spending six years living in the US where he made the Pennsylvania state finals as a wrestler. [1]
He is a graduate of the University of Glasgow in Physiology and Sport Science. [2]
Colin was a reserve in World's Strongest Man in 1997 and competed in Britain's Strongest Man in 1999. [3] [4]
At the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, he participated in the two-man bobsleigh event only two years after taking up the sport competitively. He was the brakeman for the British team despite recovering from a broken leg only five months before. [5] He competed in the two-man Bobsleigh alongside Neil Scarisbrick, and placed 22nd. [6] In 2004, he came out of the commentary booth and retirement to help an injury-ridden British team at the World Championships in Schoenau am Koenigsee, Germany, where he placed in the top 20 with driver Lee Johnston.[ citation needed ]
He has also done some high-profile refereeing work on TV shows including ITV's Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway, BBC's Superstars, ESPN's World's Strongest Man coverage and CBBC's Airmageddon.
Some of his Eurosport work includes commentaries on the World Bobsleigh, Skeleton and Luge tour, the Sydney Olympics, Japanese game show Viking: The Ultimate Obstacle Course, the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest, the Stihl Lumberjack World Championships, K-1 Total Knock Out and the BDO World Darts Championship.
Bryce was a BBC commentator at the Winter Olympics in Turin 2006 and Vancouver 2010, working alongside Paul Dickenson. They commentated on the only British medal when Amy Williams took Gold in the Skeleton event.
Since 2009, Bryce has been involved in the televised coverage of the World's Strongest Man contest initially on Bravo and subsequently on Channel 5 in the UK. Since 2003, he has presented the World Strongest Man Qualifying Tours, Giants Live and the Strongman Super Series, often with former England rugby player Martin Bayfield.
Bryce commentated the Highlander Challenge 2009 series which took place at Scone Palace and aired on Channel 4. Recently, he presented coverage of the Abu Dhabi Adventure Challenge in 2009 and 2010 on Eurosport. The event is an extreme 5-day adventure race all around the emirates.
Jonathan David Edwards, is a British former triple jumper. He is an Olympic, double World, European, European indoor and Commonwealth champion, and has held the world record in the event since 1995. At his record-breaking peak, Edwards was widely regarded as the greatest male triple-jumper in history.
Dean Macey is an English athlete from Canvey Island. He is best known for competing in the decathlon, which he did from 1995 to 2008, winning the Commonwealth Games decathlon, two World Championship medals, as well as twice finishing fourth in the Olympic Games. Retiring from decathlon due to injury, he competed in the bobsleigh between 2008 and 2010.
Svend Viking Karlsen is a Norwegian strongman, powerlifter, and IFBB professional bodybuilder. Being a winner of the World's Strongest Man, the Europe's Strongest Man, the World Muscle Power Classic and 3 times runner up at the Arnold Strongman Classic, he is regarded as one of the best strongmen in history. He is also well known for shouting his catch phrase "Viking Power!" during competitions.

Benjamin Hugh Railton Edwards is a British motor racing commentator employed by Formula One, and formerly employed by Channel 4. In the past, he has voiced television coverage of Formula One, Superleague Formula and the British Touring Car Championship, in addition to Formula One DVD Reviews for Duke Video. After spending well over a decade working for networks including Eurosport, ESPN, ITV and F1 Digital +, he was named the BBC's lead TV commentator on its Formula One coverage from 2012 in December 2011. He is known for his enthusiastic and energetic commentary style. In 2022 Edwards is one of the commentators for F1TV’s Formula One racing coverage. As of June 2023, he will also assume a role as one of the main commentators in respect of Formula E.
John Rawling is a British boxing, track and field, darts and yachting commentator, currently working for BT Sport, ITV and Talksport. He has become known as one of the best known voices of boxing commentary. With BT, John commentates alongside former World Super-Middleweight champion Richie Woodhall, while former World Cruiserweight champion Glenn McCrory is his co-commentator with Talksport. On ITV darts broadcasts, John commentates with Chris Mason, Stuart Pyke, Dan Dawson and Alan Warriner-Little, while Mason and Paul Nicholson are alongside him for Talksport darts coverage. John also commentates on Paralympic sports for Channel 4. Football on 5 is the principal football programme on Channel 5 in the UK. The show first ran from May 1997 until July 2012. The show returned in August 2015 under the name Football League Tonight. For the 2016–17 Football League season the Football on 5 name was revived with the highlights show now called Football on 5: The Championship and Football on 5: Goal Rush being broadcast from 9pm-10.30pm on a Saturday with a repeat on Sunday morning. Amy Joy Williams, is a British former skeleton racer and Olympic gold medallist. Originally a runner, she began training in skeleton in 2002 after trying the sport on a push-start track at the University of Bath. Although unable to qualify for the 2006 Winter Olympics, she was a member of the Great Britain team four years later at the 2010 Games. She won a gold medal, becoming the first British individual gold medallist at a Winter Olympics for 30 years and the only British medallist in those Olympics.

Alison Mitchell is an English-Australian cricket commentator and sports broadcaster, working for the BBC, Australia's Channel 7 and the Australian Open among others. She was the first woman to become a regular commentator on the BBC's Test Match Special, and has been commentating on men's and women's international cricket around the world since 2007. Martin Haven is a British freelance motorsport commentator, who lives in Royal Leamington Spa. He is currently on the official commentary team for the World Endurance Championship. He is also the official commentator of the International Bobsleigh & Skeleton Federation races, broadcast on the IBSF YouTube channel.
Giants Live was created in 2009 as the official Tour that qualifies strongmen to compete in the annual World's Strongest Man contest. At each Grand Prix, up to twelve international strongmen come together and compete over six events. The top three at each contest will receive an invitation to compete at the World's Strongest Man contest for that same year.
Paul Andrew Francis Dempsey is a British TV and radio sports presenter and commentator now chiefly employed by TNT Sports where he covers football and boxing coverage, as well as TV host and commentary on Indonesian Djarum's multiplatform Mola TV. After 18 years working for Sky Sports and 7 with the Dublin-based channels of Setanta Sports, Dempsey was signed by BT Sport prior to their UK launch.

Munyaradzi Thomas Kingsley Chinyanganya is a British presenter and broadcaster. He co-presented the BBC children's TV programme Blue Peter from 2013 until 2019, and the ITV game show Cannonball in 2017. Previously he presented Wild on CBBC and was the host of Match of the Day Kickabout from 2013 until 2014, when Ben Shires took over. In October 2018, it was announced that Chinyanganya would be working for American professional wrestling company WWE for its NXT UK brand, as a backstage interviewer.
