"Comforter" is a song by American vocal R&B/soul quartet Shai, issued in January 1993 as the second single from their debut studio album ...If I Ever Fall in Love (1992). The song was written by group members Carl Martin, Darnell Van Rensalier and Marc Gay, [1] with Martin also handling production. [2] The song peaked at number 10 on the US Billboard Hot 100 [3] and was certified gold on July 28, 1993 for sales of 500,000 copies. [4] [5]
