The Compact Disk Dummies is a Belgian electropunk band from Desselgem (Waregem). The group consists of the brothers Lennert (born in 1993) and Janus Coorevits (born in 1995). Both do the vocals and play keyboards, Lennert also plays the guitar.
The group was founded in 2010 and in the same year they won the Music Live event, [1] and ended second at the Belgian edition of the Kunstbende. [2] Their musical breakthrough came when the two brothers won Humo's Rock Rally as teenagers in 2012, in the Ancienne Belgique. [3] They ended before groups as Geppetto & The Whales to become the successors of School is Cool.
In March 2013 they brought out their first EP "Mess with Us", together with their first single "The Reeling". The title temporarily reached the top of Studio Brussel's De Afrekening list on 27 April 2013, [4] and stood in the Flemish Ultratop 50 during six weeks. [5] In the summer of 2013 they featured in festivals like the Lokerse Feesten and Pukkelpop.
On 6 May 2016, the band released their debut album Silver Souls. [6]

Humo's Rock Rally is a Belgian contest for rock bands, organized every second year since 1978. It is organized by the Belgian magazine HUMO.
Gorki was a Belgian rock group, in its most recent line-up consisting of Luc De Vos, Luc Heyvaerts, Erik Van Biesen, Thomas Vanelslander (guitarist) and Bert Huysentruyt (drums). Three songs by Gorki were number one hits in the Studio Brussel alternative hitlist De Afrekening in Belgium: 'Lieve kleine piranha', 'Schaduw in de schemering and 'Joerie' in 2006. Luc De Vos died on 29 November 2014.
Thor Salden, better known as Thor!, is a former child singer. Salden rose to fame in 2006, being the Belgian contestant at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2006 with "Een tocht door het donker". The song topped the Flemish Ultratop charts for one week. Salden withdrew from the stage at the age of 11.
