The Shins are an American indie rock band formed in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1996. The band's current lineup consists of James Mercer, Jon Sortland (drums), Mark Watrous, Casey Foubert (guitar), Yuuki Matthews, and Patti King (keyboards). The band is based in Portland, Oregon.

Marvel as Ben Bridwell does his best to give majesty to the phrase 'snack machine.'" It's a fan-favorite, and although it's sometimes dropped during the band's sets when they're the opening act, it's almost always present during shows where they're the headliner. It was performed by the band during their appearance on Later... with Jools Holland.
Denim on Denim is the second release and first full-length album by Regina, Saskatchewan indie pop collective Library Voices. The album was released on April 13, 2010 on Young Soul Records. Denim on Denim was recorded with up to eight different musicians playing in band, and continued the guitar-and-keyboards synthpop sound of their first release, 2008's Hunting Ghosts EP. Denim on Denim was nominated for Independent Album of the Year in the 2010 Western Canadian Music Awards.

Lovish continues a guitar-heavy, more traditional rock sound that the band used on 2014's For John EP and moves further away from the synthpop of earlier releases.
