Converge FiberXers draft history

The Converge FiberXers first participated in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) draft on May 15, 2022. The FiberXers entered the league after the 2021 PBA season when they bought the former franchise of Alaska Aces. [1]

Contents

Jeo Ambohot became the team's first draft choice during the PBA season 47 draft. Justine Baltazar is their first number one overall draft pick in franchise history during the PBA season 49 draft.

The Alaska Aces were a professional basketball team in the Philippine Basketball Association since 1986 under the ownership of Alaska Milk Corporation (AMC) and the owner of 14 PBA championships, tied with the Magnolia Hotshots for the third-most titles overall. They were one of the most popular teams in the league and the Philippines.

Willie V. Miller Jr. is a Filipino professional basketball coach and former player. He is an assistant coach for the Converge FiberXers of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He last played for the Pilipinas MX3 Kings of the ASEAN Basketball League. He has started at the point guard position mostly but could also play the shooting guard spot. Miller has won four PBA championships and two PBA Most Valuable Player Awards.

The PBA season 49 draft was the 39th edition of the PBA draft. It was held at Glorietta Activity Center in Makati on July 14, 2024, marking its first time at the venue since 2004. The league determined the drafting order based on the performance of the member teams from the 2023–24 season, with the Converge FiberXers, which finished last, picking first.

The 2024–25 Converge FiberXers season is the 3rd season of the franchise in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA).
