Corey Cogdell (born September 2, 1986 in Palmer, Alaska [1] ) is an American trapshooter. She is a two-time Olympic bronze medal winner in the Women's Trap; at the 2008 Summer Olympics and the 2016 Summer Olympics . She was also the bronze medalist at the 2007 Pan American Games in the Women's Trap event. Cogdell also competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics. [2]

Contents

Corey made the National Development Team in 2006 at Fall Selection when she placed first in the junior women's trap competition. That same day, she made the National Team when her score also placed her third in the open women's trap competition. Corey is currently living at the Olympic Training Center as a resident athlete. [3]

Personal life

Cogdell is married to former NFL defensive tackle Mitch Unrein, whom she started dating in 2010. [2] [4]

She is a lifetime member of the NRA. [5]

The United Arab Emirates participated at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China, which were held from 8 to 24 August 2008. Nakayama made her official Olympic debut at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, where she finished thirteenth in the women's double trap, with a score of 94 points, tying her position with Finland's Pia Julin.

Yelena Struchayeva is a Kazakhstani sport shooter. Struchaeva qualified for the women's trap as a 43-year-old at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, by winning the gold medal from the 2007 Asian Shooting Championships in Kuwait City, Kuwait. She scored a total of 69 points after firing three sets of 25 targets and receiving six misses in the qualifying round of the competition. She added seventeen more shots to obtain a total of 86 points in the final, but missed out of the bronze medal triumph to United States' Corey Cogdell in a four-person shoot-off. In the end, Struchaeva finished the event in sixth place, after losing out in a fifth-place match against Lithuania's Daina Gudzinevičiūtė.

Dominic Grazioli is an American trap shooter. He won a total of ten medals for men's trap shooting at the ISSF World Cup. He also captured a silver medal at the 1997 Championship of the Americas in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and achieved a fourth-place finish at the 1999 ISSF World Shooting Championships in Tampere, Finland. Additionally, Grazioli serves as a reserve major in the U.S. Air Force at Randolph Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.

She won two medals, gold and silver, in the women's double trap, at the 2001 and 2002 ISSF World Shooting Championships in Cairo, Egypt and Lahti, Finland, respectively. She also captured a bronze medal in the women's trap at the 2006 Asian Games in Doha, Qatar, accumulating a score of 80 clay pigeons and a bonus of 1 target from a shoot-off.

Locklear was an uneven bars specialist and was an alternate for the 2016 Summer Olympics U.S. gymnastics team, the Final Five.
