Corey Lee Palumbo (born August 16,1972) [1] is an American attorney and politician who represented the 17th district of the West Virginia Senate from January 14,2009 until December 1,2020. He previously served as a member of the West Virginia House of Delegates from 2003 to 2009. Palumbo did not run for reelection in the November 3,2020 general election and was succeeded by West Virginia State Delegate Eric Nelson. Nelson was officially sworn in on December 1,2020,before Palumbo's term was due to end. [2]
He is the son of Mario Palumbo,the 32nd Attorney General of West Virginia as well as a former five-term state senator. Palumbo graduated from West Virginia University in 1994,and graduated from University of North Carolina's law school in 1998. [3] He was hired as an attorney for Bowles,Rice,McDavid,Graff and Love that same year. [4]

White served four consecutive terms as the Prosecuting Attorney for Hampshire County, West Virginia (1912–1928), and served one term in the West Virginia Senate (1931–1935), representing the state's 15th Senate district in the 40th and 41st Sessions of the West Virginia Legislature. During the 1933 legislative year, White served as the floor leader for the Democratic Party members of the West Virginia Senate.
Douglas Vernon Reynolds is an American politician, businessman, and a former Democratic member of the West Virginia House of Delegates representing District 17 from January 12, 2013, to January 2017. Reynolds served consecutively from January 2007 until January 2013 in the District 16 seat. In 2016 Reynolds decided against running for his seat again, instead opting to run for the Attorney General of West Virginia position. Reynolds is also an attorney, the president of Energy Services of America, a pipeline construction company, and HD Media the publisher of the Herald-Dispatch and five other newspapers throughout West Virginia.
John "JB" McCuskey is an American politician who has served as West Virginia State Auditor since January 16, 2017. A Republican, he was a member of the West Virginia House of Delegates representing District 35 from 2013 to 2017. On February 28, 2023, he announced he would run for governor of West Virginia to attempt to succeed term limited governor Jim Justice. However, in July 2023 he announced that he would run for attorney general instead.
Fredrik Eric Nelson, Jr. is an American politician and a former Republican member of the West Virginia House of Delegates, having represented District 35 from January 12, 2013 until December 1, 2020. Nelson served consecutively from January 2011 until January 2013 in the District 30 seat. After his tenure in the West Virginia House of Delegates, he went on to run for District 17 in the West Virginia Senate, which he subsequently won in November 3, 2020 general election. He was sworn in as State Senator on December 1, 2020.

Mark Allen Hunt is an American politician who is a Republican member of the West Virginia Senate, representing the 8th district. From 2012 to 2014, Hunt was a Democratic member of the West Virginia House of Delegates representing District 36 from 2012 to 2014. Hunt served consecutively from January 2009 until January 2013, and non-consecutively from January 1995 until January 2001 and from January 2005 until January 2007 in District 30 and District 31 seats. He was a member of the West Virginia House of Delegates representing District 45 from January 12, 2013 to December 1, 2018. Hamilton served consecutively from January 2003 until January 2013 in the District 39 seat.
Mitchell Carmichael is an American politician. He is a former Republican member of the West Virginia Senate representing District 4 from 2012 until his defeat in 2020. Prior to his service in the Senate, Carmichael served in the West Virginia House of Delegates representing District 12 from 2000 through 2012. Carmichael was also a candidate for Governor of West Virginia in the 2011 West Virginia gubernatorial special election. As President of the state Senate from January 2017 to January 2021, he held the title Lieutenant Governor of West Virginia. After his defeat in 2020, Governor Jim Justice appointed Carmichael as West Virginia's economic development director.
Robert D. Beach is an American politician and a Democratic member of the West Virginia State Senate representing District 13 since January 2011. Beach was also the Democratic nominee for West Virginia Commissioner of Agriculture in 2020. Beach served consecutively in the West Virginia Legislature's House of Delegates from January 2001 until January 2011, and non-consecutively from his May 1998 appointment to fill the vacancy caused by the passing of his father, the late Delegate Robert C. Beach, until December 3, 1998 in the West Virginia House of Delegates within the 44 Delegate District.

Samuel Lightfoot Flournoy was an American lawyer and politician in the U.S. state of West Virginia. He was a prominent lawyer in Charleston, where he practiced law for over 50 years. Born in Romney in 1886, Flournoy was the son of West Virginia State Senator Samuel Lightfoot Flournoy. Flournoy was a grandson of Hampshire County Clerk of Court John Baker White and a nephew of West Virginia Attorney General Robert White and West Virginia Fish Commission President Christian Streit White. He was also a relative of Thomas Flournoy, United States Representative from Virginia.

He also served as an assessor, city councilperson, and city attorney for Keystone, West Virginia.
Armistead Abraham "Cousin Abe" Lilly was an American lawyer, politician, and businessperson in the U.S. state of West Virginia. A Republican, Lilly served as the 16th Attorney General of West Virginia from March 4, 1913, until March 3, 1917.
