The Costa Rica women's national cricket team represents the country of Costa Rica in women's cricket matches. In April 2018, the International Cricket Council (ICC) granted full Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) status to all its members. Therefore, all Twenty20 matches played between the Costa Rica women's team and another international side after 1 July 2018 had full WT20I status. [6]
In 2014, the Women's Cricket Association of Costa Rica was founded. [7] The team's first WT20I matches were against the Mexico women's team, as part of the 2019 Central American Cricket Championship in Naucalpan, Mexico. [8] [9] [10]

The Costa Rica national cricket team represents Costa Rica in international cricket. The team is organised by the Costa Rica Cricket Federation, which became an affiliate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 2002 and an associate member in 2017. Costa Rica's first recorded international match came in April 2002, when it toured Panama and played against the Panamanian national side. The team's first international tournament was the inaugural edition of the Central American Championships, played in Belize in 2006. It has since regularly fielded teams in that tournament, and also made its debut in ICC Americas tournaments in 2010, at the 2010 Division Four event in Mexico.
The Mexican national cricket team represents the country of Mexico in international cricket. They became an affiliate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 2004. Their international debut was in 2006 against Costa Rica. The team made their ICC Americas Championship debut in June 2010 and in 2011 participated in the ICC Americas Division 3 tournament in Costa Rica. Mexico has also participated in the South American Championship in 2014 and 2018 winning both the time. In 2017, they became an associate member.
The Chinese women's cricket team is the team that represents China in international women's cricket matches. The team is organised by the Chinese Cricket Association and made its official international debut in 2007.
The Uganda women's national cricket team represents Uganda in international women's cricket. They played their first matches as part of a triangular series that also involved Kenya and Kenya's A side in January 2006. They played in the African regional qualifiers for the 2009 World Cup in December 2006 against Kenya, Tanzania and Zimbabwe. They finished third in the tournament.
The Malaysian women's cricket team is the team that represents the country of Malaysia in international women's cricket matches. The team made its debut against Singapore on 30 April 2006, winning by 58 runs. In August 2017, Malaysia won the bronze medal in the women's tournament at the 2017 Southeast Asian Games.
The Argentina national women's cricket team is the team that represents the country of Argentina in international women's cricket matches. They played their first match against a national development XI on 18 June 2007, and took part in an Americas Cup tournament in Toronto, Ontario, Canada in August 2007.
Women's Twenty20 international (WT20I) is the shortest form of women's international cricket. A women's Twenty20 international is a 20 overs-per-side cricket match between two of the International Cricket Council (ICC) members. The first Twenty20 International match was held in August 2004 between England and New Zealand, six months before the first Twenty20 International match was played between two men's teams. The ICC Women's World Twenty20, the highest-level event in the format, was first held in 2009.
The Namibia women's national cricket team, nicknamed the Capricorn Eagles, represents the country of Namibia in international women's cricket. The team is organised by Cricket Namibia, which has been a member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) since 1992.

The 2019 Central American Cricket Championship was a cricket tournament held in Mexico from 25 to 28 April 2019. It was the seventh edition of the Central American Championship and the first since the ICC granted Twenty20 International (T20I) status to matches between all of its Members.
The Mali national women's cricket team is the team that represents Mali in international women's cricket. The team is organised by the Malian Cricket Federation and is nicknamed the "Lady Eagles of Cricket". It made its international debut in 2015 and has played in regional tournaments in Africa, but is yet to participate in an International Cricket Council (ICC) pathway event.

The Belize women's cricket team toured Costa Rica in December 2019 to play a six-match bilateral Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) series. The venue for all of the matches was the Los Reyes Polo Club in Guácima. These were the first WT20I matches for Belize since the ICC's announcement that full WT20I status would apply to all the matches played between women's teams of associate members after 1 July 2018. Belize won the series 5–1.
