County Line, Arkansas

County Line is an unincorporated community in the northwest corner of Fulton County, Arkansas, United States. [1] The community church is in Fulton County, adjacent to the county line and the County Line Cemetery is across the line to the west in northeast Baxter County. The community lies approximately one-half mile to the southeast of Bennetts Bayou. [2]

The Eleven Point River is a 138-mile-long (222 km) river in southern Missouri and northern Arkansas, United States. It originates near Willow Springs, Missouri. It more than doubles in flow when Greer Spring Branch runs into it, adding over 200 million US gallons (760,000 m3) of water per day to the river. The name derives from the Mississippi Valley French word pointe, which is a wooded point of land marking a river bend. Voyageurs marked distance by counting these points of land or river bends. The river flows into the Spring River southwest of Pocahontas near the small town of Black Rock.

Bennetts Bayou is a stream in the U.S. states of Arkansas and Missouri. The stream source is in Howell County, Missouri, just south of US Route 160 west of Hocomo. The stream flows southwest into Ozark County, Missouri, and under Missouri Route 142 on the east side of Bakersfield. It then flows south through the extreme northwest corner of Fulton County, Arkansas, and into the northwest corner of Baxter County, Arkansas. It continues to the southwest and enters the northeast arm of Norfork Lake to the east of Gamaliel, Arkansas. The similarly named Bennetts River runs subparallel to Bennetts Bayou just to the southeast.

Leota is an unincorporated community in southwestern Howell County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. The community is located on Missouri Route 142 and is approximately two miles north of the Missouri - Arkansas state line.

Thuroy is an unincorporated community in Ozark County, Missouri, United States. The village was located on a northward-flowing tributary to Barren Creek, approximately one-half mile from the Missouri-Arkansas border and Missouri State Highway 101. Bakersfield is about four miles to the northeast. Barren Creek flows into Norfork Lake in Arkansas, approximately four miles to the southwest.
