Cover Your Heart is a compilation album by American rock band Black Light Burns. [2] It consists of a CD (Cover Your Heart) and a DVD (The Anvil Pants Odyssey), which was a professionally shot documentary of when Black Light Burns was touring for roughly a year and a half on their debut album Cruel Melody , which preceded this release.

The DVD "Anvil Pants Odyssey" consists of a nearly two-hour-long documentary with the band, the music videos for "Mesopotamia," "4 Walls," and "Lie," and also features a behind the scenes look at the making of the "Lie" video. The DVD's content was primarily filmed during the summer and fall of 2007 and was filmed and edited by Satchel Underwood, including the video for "Mesopotamia" and the making of "Lie" segment. The video for "Lie" was directed by Josh Evans, while the video for "4 Walls" was directed by Wes Borland.

The Damning Well was a rock supergroup comprising Wes Borland of Limp Bizkit on guitar, Danny Lohner formerly of Nine Inch Nails on bass, Richard Patrick of Filter on vocals, and Josh Freese of A Perfect Circle, on drums. While rumors spread that an entire album had been recorded, Patrick has said on numerous occasions that this is false. Only two songs were recorded: "Awakening", which was released on Underworld movie soundtrack in 2003, and "Power", an unreleased track featuring Amy Lee of Evanescence on guest vocals.

In 2002 it was covered by the Misfits for a split single celebrating Balzac's signing to the newly formed Misfits Records, with Balzac covering a medley of the Misfits songs "The Haunting" and "Don't Open 'Til Doomsday" from the 1997 album American Psycho. Balzac also filmed a music video for their version.
