The Other Ones were a pop rock band which formed in Berlin in 1984. Australian-born siblings Alf Klimek, the twins Jayney Klimek and Johnny Klimek were joined by a German-born trio of Stephan Gottwald (keyboards), Andreas Schwarz-Ruszczynski (guitars) and Uwe Hoffmann (drums). They issued two albums, The Other Ones (1986) and Learning to Walk (1988), before disbanding in 1990. Their second single, "We Are What We Are", peaked in the United States Billboard Hot 100 and reached the top 40 on the New Zealand Singles Chart. Its follow up, "Holiday", peaked at No. 29 in October 1987 on the US Billboard Hot 100, No. 10 in New Zealand, No. 4 in Germany, No. 13 in Austria and No. 22 in Switzerland.

The discography of the Claw Boys Claw, a rock and roll band from the Netherlands active since 1984, comprises a dozen albums and more than a dozen singles. After two independent releases, the band signed with Polydor. After three albums for EMI in the early nineties and one more in 1997, the band went into semi-retirement, from which it emerged in 2008, now under contract with Play It Again Sam (PIAS). As a result of the band's renewed activity, PIAS reissued the band's debut album, and EMI reissued a number of albums from the 1990s.
"Dracula"/"The Rose" is a 7" single by Dutch rock and roll band Claw Boys Claw. "Dracula" had earlier been released on the Hitkillers album, a collection of covers of Dutch hits from the 1960s and 1970s. The B-side, "The Rose," was recorded in 1988 but never released. On 25 March 1989, "Dracula" reached #85 on the Dutch charts, where it spent a total of 4 weeks.

The album comes at a transitional time; the band had been let go by Polydor and the two albums released on Megadisc had not been very successful. This is their sole release on the small label Solid. The band changed personnel also: early members Bobbie Rossini (bass) and Marius Schrader (drums) had left the band at the end of 1988, and were replaced by Arno Kooy and Marc Lamb, respectively. This was Kooy's sole recording with Claw Boys Claw; Lamb is still with the band.

With Love From The Boys is the second studio album by Dutch rock and roll band Claw Boys Claw and their first release on a major label. Their debut album, Shocking Shades of Claw Boys Claw, self-released on Hipcat, had been well received in the Dutch press, and in 1984 and 1985 they cemented their reputation as one of the country's best live acts, which was partly documented on a live EP, Live!, recorded in 1984 and released in 1985 also on Hipcat. Their live reputation culminated in a memorable show at Pinkpop 1986, and these successes had led Polydor to offer the band a long-term contract. The band had undergone one personnel change: founding member Allard Jolles left to focus on his other band, L'Attentat; he was replaced by Marius Schrader.
Shocking Shades of Claw Boys Claw is the debut studio album by Dutch rock and roll band Claw Boys Claw. The album was released on their own label, Hipcat records. The Claw Boys Claw had been founded in 1983 by drummer Allard Jolles, who played guitar and sang in L'Attentat, another band from the "Amsterdam Guitar School". They won a talent show in November 1983 and with that money paid for three hours' worth of studio time: the result was their debut album. Released in May 1984, the album is popular despite the low sound quality, and the band becomes quite the hit in the Dutch club circuit, thanks in no small part to their energetic stage presence. After the album was released, Jolles returned to L'Attentat, though he would sporadically work with the Claw Boys Claw, producing Hitkillers/The Beast Of Claw Boys Claw, for instance.

The band has released the album New Gold that charted in its first week of release in Tracklisten, the official Danish Albums Chart. Described as one of Denmark's strongest live acts, they appeared at the Roskilde Festival and Skanderborg Festival in 2013. Their second album, Electric Lives, has been recorded in Hansa Tonstudio and released in August 2015.
