Eurovision Young Musicians, often shortened to EYM, or Young Musicians, is a biennial classical music competition for European musicians that are aged between 12 and 21. It is organised by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and broadcast on television throughout Europe, with some countries holding national selections to choose their representatives for the contest.
The Eurovision Young Musicians 2000 was the tenth edition of the Eurovision Young Musicians, held at Grieg Hall in Bergen, Norway on 15 June 2000. Organised by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and host broadcaster Norsk rikskringkasting (NRK), musicians from eight countries participated in the televised final. As said by the host Arild Erikstad, a total of twenty-four countries took part in the competition. All participants performed a classical piece of their choice accompanied by the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Simone Young. Seven countries returned to the contest, whilst Czech Republic and Turkey made their debut.
The Eurovision Young Musicians 2002 was the eleventh edition of the Eurovision Young Musicians, held at Konzerthaus in Berlin, Germany on 19 June 2002. Organised by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and host broadcaster Zweites Deutsches Fernsehen (ZDF), musicians from seven countries participated in the televised final. A total of twenty countries took part in the competition. All participants performed a classical piece of their choice accompanied by the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, conducted by Marek Janowski. Romania made their début while Italy returned to the contest for the first time since 1990.

This was the first time that the competition was held on an open-air stage and was the beginning of the annual Vienna Festival. Austria and broadcaster ORF previously hosted the contest in 1990 and 1998.
The Czech Republic participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 with the song "Aven Romale" written by Radoslav "Gipsy" Banga. The song was performed by the group Gipsy.cz, which was internally selected by the Czech broadcaster Česká televize (ČT) to represent the nation at the 2009 contest in Moscow, Russia. Gipsy.cz was announced as the Czech entrant on 30 January 2009, while ČT organised the national final Eurosong 2009 in order to select the song that Gipsy.cz would perform. Two songs were presented on 28 February 2009 and the public had until 14 March to vote for their favourite song, which resulted in "Aven Romale" as the Czech entry on 14 March 2009.

Germany has officially participated in the biennial classical music competition Eurovision Young Musicians twenty times since its debut in 1982, winning the inaugural contest that year. Before German reunification in 1990, it was presented as West Germany, representing the Federal Republic of Germany. East Germany did not compete. Germany won again in 1996 and have hosted the contest twice, in 2002 and 2014.
Norway has participated in the biennial classical music competition Eurovision Young Musicians 19 times since its debut in 1982, winning the contest for the first time in 2012. Norway did not officially take part in 1984, the only contest the country has missed as of 2022. It hosted the contest in 2000 and did so again in 2024.
France has participated in the biennial classical music competition Eurovision Young Musicians eleven times since its debut in 1982. France won the contest in 1986, and hosted the 2022 edition in Montpellier.
The Czech Republic has participated in the Eurovision Young Dancers 7 times since its debut in 1999. The Czech Republic has hosted the contest twice, in 2015 and in 2017.
The Czech Republic participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 with the song "My Turn" written by DWB and Kyler Niko. The song was performed by Martina Bárta, who was internally selected by the Czech broadcaster Česká televize (ČT) to represent the nation at the 2017 contest in Kyiv, Ukraine. Bárta was announced as the Czech representative on 15 February 2017, while the song "My Turn" was presented to the public on 7 March 2017.
The Czech Republic participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 with the song "Lie to Me" written and performed by Mikolas Josef. The Czech broadcaster Česká televize (ČT) organised the national final Eurovision Song CZ in order to select the Czech entry for the 2018 contest in Lisbon, Portugal. Six entries competed in the national final and "Lie to Me" performed by Mikolas Josef was announced as the winner on 29 January 2018 following the combination of votes from a ten-member international jury panel and a public vote.
The Eurovision Young Musicians 2018 was the 19th edition of the Eurovision Young Musicians contest. It was hosted by the United Kingdom, for the first time since the inaugural contest in 1982. This edition was a co-production between the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), the Edinburgh International Festival and the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) as host broadcaster. We Are Domi, formerly known as Domi, is a Czech-Norwegian-British electropop band formed in Leeds, United Kingdom in 2016. The band consists of lead vocalist Dominika Hašková, guitarist Casper Hatlestad, and keyboardist Benjamin Rekstad. The three met during their studies at the Leeds College of Music.
