The Czech Republic women's national baseball team is the national baseball team of the Czech Republic. The team competes in the bi-annual Women's European Baseball Championship. [2] In the 2022 the team finished runners up in the European Championships, behind France. [3]
The Italy national baseball team represents Italy in international baseball competitions. The Italian national team was ranked 16th in the world as of 2022. The team is managed by Mike Piazza, a former New York Mets player and Major League Baseball Hall of Fame inductee.
The Ireland national baseball team has been in existence since 1996 and has taken part in several major baseball tournaments and tours. As in many other sports in Ireland, the team represents both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
The World Baseball Softball Confederation Europe, known as WBSC Europe, was established on February 10, 2018, during a Congress of the Confederation of European Baseball and the European Softball Federation in Val d’Europe, France. the establishment of WBSC Europe followed the historic merger of the Confederation of European Baseball (CEB) and the European Softball Federation (ESF). Because it is a world championship event, the results of the 15U Baseball World Cup affect the WBSC World Rankings.
The U-12 European Baseball Championship, formerly the European Juveniles Baseball Championship, is an annual under-12 international baseball tournament sanctioned and created by the Confederation of European Baseball (CEB) since 1992. Since 2006, the teams from Czech Republic dominated the tournament, but were defeated in 2010 by Russia.
The European Softball Junior Boys Championship (U-18) is the main championship tournament between national junior boys softball teams in Europe, governed by the European Softball Federation.
