The Czech Republic national rugby sevens team is a minor national sevens side.
Their most notable achievement to date was in 2001, when they won the Bowl final of the Sri Lanka Sevens.
The Czechs made their first European Championship appearance at Heidelberg in 2002, where they finished 11th out of a possible 12. In 2003, when the final tournament was again at Heidelberg, they finished 10th. The following year saw the tournament, which also doubled as qualifiers for the 2005 Rugby World Cup Sevens, at Palma de Majorca in Spain, with the team claiming the Shield after beating Poland 17-5. They haven't qualified for the Championship again since that particular tournament.

The Czech national football team represents the Czech Republic in international football, and are controlled by the Football Association of the Czech Republic, the governing body for football in the Czech Republic. Historically, the team participated in FIFA and UEFA competitions as Bohemia, Austria-Hungary and Czechoslovakia, finishing second at the 1934 and 1962 World Cups and winning the European Championship in 1976.

It began on August 16, 2008 with a match between Tatra Smíchov and Petrovice at the Stadion ragby Císařka in Prague, and ended with the final on November of that year with Tatra Smíchov beating Říčany 17-9 played on Synot Tip Arena in Prague.
The 2016–17 Rugby Europe International Championships is the European Championship for tier 2 and tier 3 rugby union nations. The 2016–17 season is the first of its new format and structure, where all Levels play on a one-year cycle, replacing the old format of a two-year cycle, where the teams played each other both home and away.
