DBE World is the sixth full-length studio mixtape by British hip hop duo D-Block Europe (consisting of Young Adz and Dirtbike LB), released through EGA Records and UMG on July 7, 2023. The album is a follow-up to their second full-length studio album, Lap 5 in September 2022. [1] [2] The mixtape features guest appearances from Aitch, Chip, Clavish, Headie One, K-Trap, M Huncho, Nafe Smallz, and OhGeesy, alongside production from Da Beatfreakz, Dirtbike LB, Eight8, Einer Bankz, Ghost Killer Track, Nathaniel London, alongside several other producers. The mixtape's rollout began in early 2023 as they released several loose singles prior to the release of the mixtape, such as "Tears in My Amiri's", [4] "Barbie", [5] and "1 on 1" [6] before releasing the album's lead single, "Side Effects" on June 15, 2023. [7] Just a week prior to the release of the album, D-Block Europe released the second single from their mixtape, the highly anticipated, "Pakistan" featuring Clavish, while also announcing the album. [8] The mixtape's final single, "Potential" was released on July 6, 2023, just a day prior to the release of the mixtape. [9]

DBE World received positive reviews from critics. Writing for Clash', Shanté Collier-McDermott wrote that "D-Block Europe cement themselves within the top tier of the UK Rap scene on DBE World, deserving of their flowers as trap trailblazers", and that "this mixtape celebrates the life they worked hard for as they welcome peace not problems… and of course, it is not void of the spicy content fans love". D-Block Europe, often abbreviated to DBE, is a British hip hop collective consisting of Adam Nathaniel "Young Adz" Williams, and Ricky Earl "Dirtbike LB" Banton. Their name originated after being co-signed by Jadakiss, resulting in Jadakiss launching the European stable of his record label D-Block Records, creating D-Block Europe. They started to put out tracks on their own label at the beginning of 2014. The group rose to fame in 2017 after releasing numerous singles including "Large Amounts", "Darling" and "Nasty".
Devonte Kasi Martin Perkins, better known by his stage name K-Trap, is a British rapper and songwriter from South London. He is known for his prominence in the UK drill scene, releasing notable mixtapes such as The Last Whip (2017), The Re-Up (2018) and No Magic (2019). Previously, K-Trap was widely known for wearing a balaclava to conceal his identity until June 2019 when he revealed his face for the first time in the music video for his single ‘Big Mood’, promoting his mixtape No Magic.
