DYNY (107.9 FM), broadcasting as 107.9 Win Radio, is a radio station owned by Mabuhay Broadcasting System and operated by ZimZam Management, Inc. The station's studio and transmitter are located at Room 302, Delta Bldg., Quezon St., Iloilo City. [1]

History

The station began operations in 1992 as YNY 107 with a modern rock format. It was formerly under the ownership of Progressive Broadcasting Corporation. In 1994, it rebranded as NU 107 with the slogan Iloilo's Rock Radio. In 2000, it became a relay station of DWNU in Manila. In 2010, after NU 107 renamed to Win Radio it relayed the program until in 2012, it began airing its own local programming. [2] [3]

In 2016, after House Bill No. 5982 [4] was passed into law, Mabuhay Broadcasting System acquired the provincial stations of PBC.

The UNTV Transmitter is a 328 ft (100.0 m) communication tower owned by Breakthrough and Milestones Productions International, Inc. located at Emerald Hills, Sumulong Highway, Antipolo, Rizal, Republic of the Philippines. It serves as the new transmitter facility for flagship stations DWAO-TV and DWNU, with broadcast licenses owned by the stations founder Progressive Broadcasting Corporation.

Broadcast media is being utilized by the Members Church of God International (MCGI), an international Christian religious organization with headquarters in the Philippines, to preach the gospel and expand internationally. The church is producing religious programs in different languages, aired in various countries, by acquiring time slots on several television stations. Compared to major rivals, which are directly run by their associated parent company, ZimZam buys Win Radio's airtime from third-party networks, as they do not have a legal franchise to directly operate a station.
