Joseph Deane is an Irish retired hurler who played for East Cork club Killeagh. He played for the Cork senior hurling team for 13 years, during which time he usually lined out as a left corner-forward. Diminutive in size but noted for his deadly accuracy in front of goal, Deane is regarded as one of Cork's all-time greatest and most popular players.

Dohenys is a Gaelic Athletic Association club, fielding Gaelic football and hurling teams in the town of Dunmanway, County Cork, Ireland. It won its only Cork Senior Club Football Championship in 1897. Other titles won include 2 Cork Intermediate Football Championships in 1972 and 1995, and 3 Cork Junior Football Championships in 1935, 1966, and 1993. This is a list of athletes and teams who have won honours while representing Cork GAA in Gaelic games. Cork achieved the Double in senior hurling and gaelic football in 1890 and 1990. Tipperary in 1895 and 1900 is the only other county to achieve this unique feat. The late Teddy McCarthy is the only person to hold the unique record of winning two all Ireland senior medals in hurling and gaelic football in the one year. Another Cork man Brian Murphy is the only man in the history of the GAA to win all Ireland medals at senior u21 and minor level in both hurling and gaelic football.
Ballinhassig is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the village of Ballinhassig in County Cork, Republic of Ireland. The club was founded in 1886, and now plays Hurling at Premier Intermediate level, having won the Cork Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship in 2005, and the Cork Junior Hurling Championship in 2002.

Kilworth GAA, or Cill Úird, is a hurling and Gaelic football club located in the village of Kilworth in the north-eastern corner of County Cork, Ireland. It is affiliated to Cork GAA county board and to Avondhu GAA divisional board.
Newcestown GAA is a Gaelic football and hurling club based in the village of Newcestown in County Cork, Ireland. The club plays in the Carbery division of Cork GAA.
Carrigaline GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the town of Carrigaline in County Cork, Ireland. The club fields both Gaelic football and hurling teams in competitions organised by Cork County Board. The club is part of the Carrigdhoun division of Cork. They are a Senior Football club, and a Premier Intermediate Hurling club. Cork Inter-county player Nicholas Murphy plays his club football with Carrigaline. Despite competing in numerous county finals such as Intermediate football final of 2003 and Intermediate hurling of 2006, Carrigaline failed to capture a county title. This was until 12 October 2008 when they captured their first adult county after an Intermediate A Hurling win over Bandon. In 2009 they captured the football title, by beating Cill na Martra. In 2014 they secured their first top level county by defeating St. Finbarr's, in the Premier 1 Minor Football Final. In 2015 the club reached the Promised Land beating St Michael's in the Cork Premier Intermediate Football Championship Final, on a scoreline of 0–12 to 0-11.
St Ita's is a Gaelic football and hurling club based in the village of Gortroe,, County Cork, Ireland. It competes in competitions organized by Cork county board and the Imokilly divisional board. In 2013, Seamus Harnedy became the first player from the club to play with the Cork senior hurling team. He was a major success and ended up with being included in the 2013 and 2018 All-Star team.
Pat Kenneally is a former Irish sportsperson. He played hurling with his local club Newcestown and with the Cork senior inter-county teams in the 1990s. Kenneally captained Cork in 1995, however, he enjoyed little success with the senior team. He continued to play with the more junior teams on his club for some years after. He played in four County Finals for his club He also won the Man of the Match award when playing in the 1994 county success with his division Carbery which allowed him to achieve the honour of captaining his county in the 1995 Senior Hurling campaign.
Ger Manley is an Irish former hurler and Gaelic footballer. At club level he played with Inniscarra, Midleton and Muskerry and was also a member of the Cork senior hurling team.
Derek Barrett is an Irish hurling coach and former player. He is the coach of Cork Senior Championship division Imokilly. Barrett had a lengthy career with East Cork club Cobh while he also played for the Cork senior hurling team for eight years, during which time he usually lined out as a right wing-back.

Brendan Walsh was an Irish hurler. At club level he played with Killeagh, divisional side Imokilly, and also lined out at inter-county level with various Cork teams.
