List of Cork senior hurling team captains

This article lists players who have captained the senior Cork county hurling team in the Munster Senior Hurling Championship and the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship. The captain was usually chosen from the club that won the Cork Senior Hurling Championship; however, as of 2008, the captain has been appointed by the manager.

Brian Corcoran is an Irish former hurler and Gaelic footballer who played as a centre-back and as a full-forward for the Cork senior teams.

John Gardiner is an Irish retired hurler who played for Cork Senior Championship club Na Piarsaigh. He played for the Cork senior hurling team for 11 seasons, during which time he usually lined out as a right wing-back. A commanding and combative defender, Gardiner was part of a dominant half-back line that also included Seán Óg Ó hAilpín and Ronan Curran.

Ben O'Connor is an Irish hurling coach and former player. He is the current coach of the Charleville intermediate team. O'Connor played for Cork Senior Championship club Newtownshandrum and was a member of the Cork senior hurling team for 14 seasons, during which time he usually lined out as a right wing-forward. Noted for his commanding presence and scoring ability on the wing, he is regarded as one of the greatest players of his generation.

Thomas Kenny is an Irish hurling coach and hurler who plays for Cork Intermediate Championship club Grenagh. He played for the Cork senior hurling team for 10 years, during which time he usually lined out at midfield before ending his career at right wing-back. Kenny's midfield partnership with Jerry O'Connor is regarded as one of the greatest of all time.
