Daniel Mark Housego (born 12 October 1988) is an English cricketer who last played county cricket for Gloucestershire and is a right-handed top order batsman.
Dan Housego was educated at Moulsford Prep School,Oxford and The Oratory School,Woodcote. He attended the Middlesex Cricket Academy. He made his first-class debut versus Derbyshire in August 2008,aged nineteen.
He played youth team football for Oxford United and won the Under-12 national 200m championship. He has also played for Berkshire in the Minor Counties Championship on numerous occasions.
He represented Middlesex in 15 first-class matches (2008–2011) and 5 Twenty20 matches (2008–2009). He left the staff after the end of the 2011 season.
On 25 January 2012,Housego joined Gloucestershire on a three-year deal,taking him to the end of the 2014 season. Housego had previously been at Gloucestershire as part of their youth academy. [1]
Lionel Charles Hamilton Palairet was an English amateur cricketer who played for Somerset and Oxford University. A graceful right-handed batsman,he was selected to play Test cricket for England twice in 1902. Contemporaries judged Palairet to have one of the most attractive batting styles of the period. His obituary in The Times described him as "the most beautiful batsman of all time". An unwillingness to tour during the English winter limited Palairet's Test appearances;contemporaries believed he deserved more Test caps.

Henry William"Harry" Lee was a professional English cricketer who played first-class cricket for the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) and Middlesex County Cricket Club between 1911 and 1934. He made one Test appearance for England,in 1931. An all-rounder,Lee was a right-handed batsman and bowled both off break and slow-medium pace bowling with his right arm. He scored 1,000 runs in a season on thirteen occasions. Part of the County Championship winning sides in 1920 and 1921,Lee aggregated 20,158 runs and took 401 wickets in first-class cricket.

He played 31 matches for Gloucestershire,though aside from the 1897 cricket season he often played only a small number of games each year. He scored 564 runs at a batting average of 12.40,and a best of 46. He was later President of Horsham Cricket Club.

After a schoolboy career at St Albans Boys School,Scott made his first-class debut for Leeds Bradford MCCU against Sussex County Cricket Club in April 2015.
Sir William O'Brien Lindsay was the Chief Justice of Anglo-Egyptian Sudan from 1950 or 1954 to 1955,during the period when it was administered as an Anglo-Egyptian condominium. He served in the Sudan Political Service from 1932 to 1955,and later establishing a law firm in Nairobi,Kenya. Lindsay was a talented sportsman as a youth,playing first-class cricket for Oxford University,Scotland and Kent County Cricket Club.
In 2012,Kent County Cricket Club competed in Division Two of the County Championship,Group C of the 40-over Clydesdale Bank 40 and the South Group of the Friends Life t20. Kent also hosted a first-class match at the St Lawrence Ground against the touring South Africans. At the start of the season,Kent played a three-day MCC Universities match at Oxford MCCU,but this match did not have first-class status. It was the first season in charge for new head coach Jimmy Adams after the departure of Paul Farbrace who had been the club's Director of Cricket for two seasons. The club captain was former England batsman Rob Key who had been club captain since 2006. Brendan Nash joined Kent as their overseas player.
