The Australia men's national cricket team represents Australia in men's international cricket. As the joint oldest team in Test cricket history,playing in the first ever Test match in 1877,the team also plays One-Day International (ODI) and Twenty20 International (T20I) cricket,participating in both the first ODI,against England in the 1970–71 season and the first T20I,against New Zealand in the 2004–05 season,winning both games. He was the vice captain of the Australian squad which finished as runners-up at the 1975 Cricket World Cup.
Ian Andrew Healy is an Australian former international cricketer who played for Queensland domestically. A wicketkeeper and right-hand middle-order batsman,he first played international cricket in 1988,after six first-class games. Over the next decade,Healy was a member of the side as it enjoyed a period of success. By the time of his retirement,Healy held the world record for most Test dismissals by a wicket-keeper. Craig John McDermott is a former Australian cricketer. Between 1984 and 1996 he played 71 Tests for Australia,taking 291 wickets. Following the end of his playing career,he was the bowling coach for the Australian team for two spells between 2011 and 2016. The Brisbane Heat are an Australian professional franchise men's cricket team,competing in Australia's domestic Twenty20 cricket competition,the Big Bash League (BBL). The Heat are the successors of the Queensland Bulls who played in the now-defunct KFC Twenty20 Big Bash. The Heat wear a teal uniform and are based in Brisbane in the Australian state Queensland. The Gold Coast District Cricket Club is a cricket club on the Gold Coast,Queensland,Australia who play in the Queensland Premier Cricket competition. The club was founded in 1990. It has won the Queensland Premier Cricket First Grade Premiership twice,in the 2002/03 and 2008/09 seasons,the competitions One-Day Premiership twice,in 1992/93 and 2009/10,and the Twenty20 Premiership twice in 2009/10 and 2020/21. The 2017–18 Sheffield Shield season was the 116th season of the Sheffield Shield,the Australian domestic first-class cricket competition. It started on 26 October 2017 and finished on 27 March 2018. The opening round of matches were played as day/night fixtures and the first three rounds of matches took place before the Ashes series. Victoria were the defending champions.
Matthew Paul Kuhnemann is an Australian cricketer. He made his List A debut for Cricket Australia XI in the 2017–18 JLT One-Day Cup on 8 October 2017 after being offered a rookie contract for Queensland in the 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons.
