Professional career

Fitzgerald started his career with German league club Ratiopharm Ulm.

During the 2012–13 season, he played for the Japanese team Akita Northern Happinets. [1] In the summer of 2013, he returned to SAM Massagno, but he only played one game with them before transferring to Spain in October 2013 to play with Oviedo CB of the LEB Oro. [2]

He played for Kosei Club and Akita Northern Bisons as an amateur in his home prefecture. Currently he serves as an unaffiliated director of the Akita Happinets and the Japan national 3x3 team coach.
