Daniel Lloyd (born 18 February 1992) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Greater Western Sydney Giants in the Australian Football League (AFL). Lloyd was part of the 2019 Grand Final team
Lloyd grew up on the Central Coast in New South Wales and played his junior football for the Killarney Vale Bombers. [1] A former scholarship holder with the Western Bulldogs, Lloyd (a Carpenter at the time) was spotted by Assistant Coach Mark McVeigh playing for the Killarney Vale Bombers in the Black Diamond Football League where he kicked nine goals in a semi-final for the Bombers that season and also won Killarney Vale's 2015 Best and Fairest award. He was drafted by Greater Western Sydney with their second selection and twenty-sixth overall in the 2016 rookie draft. [2]
He made his debut in the three-point win against Collingwood at Spotless Stadium in round eight of the 2017 season. [3]
On 17 August 2023 Lloyd announced his retirement from the AFL, effective at the end of the season. [4]

Mark McVeigh is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Essendon Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He served as the caretaker senior coach of the Greater Western Sydney Giants following the resignation of Leon Cameron in 2022.
Sam Jacobs is a former professional Australian rules football player who played for the Greater Western Sydney Giants, Adelaide Crows and Carlton Blues in the Australian Football League (AFL). Originally from Woodville-West Torrens in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL), Jacobs was selected by Carlton with pick 1 in the 2007 Rookie Draft. He was traded to Adelaide following the 2010 season. After the 2019 season Jacobs was again traded from Adelaide to Greater Western Sydney Giants. After a Covid affected 2020, Jacobs retired after 14 AFL Seasons.

Cameron has kicked the most goals (427) for Greater Western Sydney, and led the club's goalkicking in all nine of his seasons at the club, with his 67 goals in the 2019 home-and-away season earning him the Coleman Medal. He is also a four time All-Australian and won the Kevin Sheedy Medal in 2013. Cameron won his first premiership in 2022 with Geelong.

He was recruited by Greater Western Sydney as the 54th pick in the 2012 AFL Rookie Draft, making his debut in round five of the 2013 AFL season. Williams earned a nomination for the 2013 AFL Rising Star award and has played the 14th most games for Greater Western Sydney Club. At the end of the 2020 season, Williams signed with Carlton as a restricted free agent.
