Daniel Rasilla Colaso (born 28 April 1980) is a Spanish professional boxer. He held the Spanish lightweight and light-welterweight titles between 2007 and 2013, and has challenged once for the European light-welterweight title in 2009.
Rasilla made his professional debut on 4 February 2006, winning a four-round unanimous decision (UD) against Marques Gil, who also debuted. On 15 December 2007, he defeated Hoang Sang Nguyen via UD to win the Spanish lightweight title. Once defence was made, against Karim El Ouazghari on 26 April 2008. In a rematch with Nguyen on 29 November 2008, Rasilla lost the title after being stopped in two rounds. On 21 March 2009, fighting out of his native Spain for the first time, he travelled to Ireland and lost a UD against Andrew Murray, with the vacant European Union lightweight title at stake. [1]
In another trip away from home on 6 November 2009, this time to Northern Ireland to fight for the vacant European light-welterweight title, Rasilla was stopped in nine rounds by Paul McCloskey. [2] On 15 May 2010, Rasilla won the vacant Spanish light-welterweight title by knocking out Juan Zapata in five rounds. A third attempt to win a major regional championship—the European Union light-welterweight title—ended in a split draw against defending champion Ville Piispanen on 27 November 2010. [3]

Juan Fernando Urango Rivas, best known as Juan Urango, is a Colombian former professional boxer who competed from 2002 to 2012. He held the IBF junior welterweight title twice between 2006 and 2010, and challenged once for the WBC welterweight title in 2009. His nickname of "Iron Twin" is a reference to his twin brother, Pedro Urango, who is also a former boxer.
Andriy Mykolayovich Kotelnyk, best known by the Germanicised name Andreas Kotelnik, is a Ukrainian former professional boxer who competed between 2000 and 2014, and held the WBA super-lightweight title from 2008 to 2009. As an amateur boxer, he won a silver medal in the lightweight division at the 2000 Olympics.
Andrew Murray is an Irish professional boxer who held the Irish lightweight title, having previously held the Irish light-welterweight title also. He is also a former European Union lightweight champion, and has challenged once for the European lightweight title.
Paul McCloskey is a former professional boxer from Northern Ireland who competed from 2005 to 2013. He held the British super-lightweight title from 2008 to 2009; the European super-lightweight title from 2009 to 2011; and challenged once for the WBA super-lightweight title in 2011. As an amateur, McCloskey won a silver medal in the welterweight division at the 2003 European Union Championships, and was an Irish Senior amateur champion.

Lee "Aberdeen Assassin" McAllister is a Scottish professional boxer nicknamed the "Aberdeen Assassin". McAllister held the Commonwealth lightweight and light-welterweight titles, the IBO International light-welterweight title, and challenged once each for the European and British titles. He captured the junior-middleweight WBU World Championship on 5 October 2019 against Richmond Djarbeng by 2nd-round TKO. Lee is also a very successful promoter; Assassins Promotions boxing, which holds events in his hometown of Aberdeen, where he also runs and operates a very prestigious boxing gym called Assassin's Health & Fitness. On 22 July 2018 he fought his most high-profile fight whenever he moved up 5 weight classes and challenged British WBU #1 contender Danny Williams, who beat Mike Tyson, in eerily similar fashion; McAllister dominated Williams and KO'd him in round 10 to become the WBU Heavyweight champion of the world.
Boxing in the 2010s includes notable events about boxing which occurred between 2010 and 2019. The decade saw high intensity action in the welterweight division. The match between veterans Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao broke PPV records. The broadcast of the fight in the Philippines was watched by nearly half the country's households. Mayweather retired at a record 50-0-0 while Pacquiao became the first eight division champion. The middleweight division saw immense action in the later years of the decade. After a draw in 2017, Canelo Alvarez ended Gennady Golovkin's long reign in 2018. The heavyweight division was dominated by Klitschko brothers before Wladimir's loss to Tyson Fury in 2015. Amir Khan vs. Paul McCloskey was a 140-pound world title fight, that was aired on HBO's World Championship Boxing, as part of an HBO-televised split-site double-header, which also included WBC Welterweight Championship fight, Andre Berto vs. Victor Ortiz. Following on from Khan's successful title defence against Marcos Maidana, Champion Amir returned to Manchester to continue his title defence against EBU Super Lightweight Champion Paul McCloskey at the Manchester Evening News Arena.
Josh Taylor is a Scottish professional boxer. He is a former undisputed super lightweight champion, having held the International Boxing Federation (IBF) and World Boxing Association (WBA) titles between 2019 and 2022, the World Boxing Council (WBC) title between 2021 and 2022, the World Boxing Organisation (WBO) title between 2021 and 2023 and the Ring magazine title between 2019 and 2023.
