Daniel Yaw Domelevo is a Ghanaian accountant who currently serves as a Board member of the Global Fund. He is a former Auditor-General of Ghana. [1] He was appointed by John Dramani Mahama in 2016 to replace Richard Quartei Quartey who had retired from Public service. [2] [3] He won the 2019 Integrity Personality Award at the 2019 Ghana Integrity Initiative awards. [4] [5]
Domelevo holds an Executive master's degree in Business Administration (Finance) from the University of Ghana Business School. [1] He trained as a chartered accountant and has been a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (Ghana) since 1993. [1]
Domelevo is a trained accountant by profession and served in senior staff roles at the Controller and Accountant General's Department (CAGD) in the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning (Ghana) for 18 years. [6] From January 2010 to December 2016,he was the Public Financial Management Expert of the World Bank and served as the Senior Financial Management Specialist responsible for Public Financial Management projects in Zimbabwe and Malawi. [2] He also served as the Chief Accountant for the Ghana Film Industry Corporation (now TV3). [1] [6]
In 2016,he was appointed by President John Mahama to serve as Auditor-General of Ghana. [2] [3] In his role as Auditor-General of the country,he also served as keynote speaker for public lectures on auditing,corruption and issues relating to management of finances [7] [8] [9] On 20 September 2018,he was the keynote speaker at the 3rd Kwadwo Baah-Wiredu Memorial Lecture. He spoke on the theme “Protecting The Public Purse- Keeping the gate shut before the horse bolts”in memory of the late Finance Minister. [10]
In 2021,The Centre for Social Democracy and Friedrech Elbert Stiftung Foundation in recognition of his role as the Auditor-General of Ghana in ensuring transparency and accountability for public resources launched an annual lecture named Domelevo Accountability Lectures. The inaugural lecture was held on 1 July 2021 at the Teachers Hall in Accra. [11]
On 4th May 2022,he was approved and appointed as a board member of the Global Fund representing West and Central Africa. [12] [13] Together with eleven(11) others,he is serving on the Audit and Finance Committee and will be voting on issues brought before the board.
Domelevo is a Christian who is a devout Roman Catholic. [14] [15]
On 9 December 2019,Domelevo won the Integrity Personality Award at the maiden Integrity awards ceremony organised by Ghana Integrity Initiative (GII),contending against Manasseh Azure Awuni,a freelance investigative journalist;Edward Sowah Adjetey,an engineer at the State Housing Company Limited Ato Ulzen-Appiah,the Director of the Ghana Think Foundation,a civil society organisation,and David Boateng Asante,the managing director of the Ghana Publishing Company. John Dramani Mahama is a Ghanaian politician who served as President of Ghana from 24 July 2012 to 7 January 2017. He previously served as Vice President of Ghana from January 2009 to July 2012,and took office as president on 24 July 2012 following the death of his predecessor,John Evans Fiifi Attah Mills.
Prempeh College is a public secondary boarding school for boys located in Kumasi,the capital city of the Ashanti Region,Ghana. The school was founded in 1949 by the Asanteman traditional authority,the British Colonial Government,the Methodist Church Ghana and the Presbyterian Church of Ghana. The school is named after the King of Ashanti (Asantehene),Sir Osei Tutu Agyeman Prempeh II,who donated the land on which the school was built,and was modeled on Eton College in England.
Kwadwo Baah-Wiredu was a Ghanaian politician and a chartered accountant. He was Member of Parliament in the Parliament of Ghana for Asante Akim North Constituency from January 1997 until his death on September 24,2008. He served as a Minister of state at different ministries under the Kufuor government from 2001.

Paul Victor ObengKSG also known as P. V. Obeng was a Ghanaian mechanical engineer and politician. He was the chairman of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology council. In 2010,he was appointed by the President John Atta Mills administration as Chairman of the National Development Planning Commission (NDPC). Until his death,he was the Senior Presidential Adviser at Presidency to President John Dramani Mahama. He served under President's Jerry John Rawlings,John Evans Atta Mills and John Dramani Mahama in different capacities. He was a member and coordinating secretary and chairman of the Committee of Secretaries of the Provisional National Defence Council. He died on 17 May 2014.
The Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of Bangladesh (C&AG) is the Supreme Audit Institution (SAI) of the country. Like the SAIs in many other countries across the world the institution is established by the Constitution of Bangladesh. Kwame Anyimadu-Antwi is a Ghanaian lawyer and politician. He is a member of parliament for Asante-Akim Central constituency in the Seventh Parliament and 8th Parliament of the fourth Republic of Ghana in the Ashanti Region,a position he has held since 2009. He represents the New Patriotic Party. Currently,he is a board member of VRA and also the chairperson for the Ghana National Fire Service Council.

The auditor-general of Ghana is the head of the Ghana Audit Service,a legislative branch agency re-established by the government of Ghana in 1992 through the 1992 Constitution of Ghana. It was established as part of the Audit Service through Article 188 of the 1992 Constitution of Ghana as part of the Public Services of Ghana. The auditor-general through the Audit service undertakes audits of the public accounts of Ghana and all public offices as mandated by Article 187 of the 1992 Constitution of Ghana.

Lara Taylor-Pearce is an auditor and civil servant,best known for her work as auditor general of Sierra Leone from 2011 to 2021. Taylor-Pearce gained international attention for her work exposing corruption during the 2014–2016 Ebola pandemic response,conducting a real-time audit of Ebola relief funds that highlighted faulty documentation of government spending and led to the recovery of several billion leones. She received the National Integrity Award from the Anti-Corruption Commission of Sierra Leone in 2015,and was made a Grand Officer of the Order of the Rokel in 2017.
