Danny-Boy Hatchard (born 26 July 1991) [1] is a British actor from London, known for portraying the role of Lee Carter in the BBC soap opera EastEnders . [2] Hatchard's other credits include Aaron in the 2014 film We Still Kill the Old Way and Steven Pierce in the 20th anniversary production of Beautiful Thing . [3] In July 2019, it was announced that he will play Private Rhett Charlton in the fourth series of Our Girl .

Career

On 21 January 2014, Hatchard was cast in the role of Lee Carter in the BBC soap opera EastEnders . [4] He began filming his first scenes in February. [4] It was announced in 2016 that Hatchard would leave EastEnders in 2017. [5] He returned temporarily in late 2019 for a short stint, and again in December 2020. Hatchard once again reprised the role of Lee on 16 December 2024 for one episode. [6]

 [7]  In 2020 Hatchard joined the cast of the BBC military drama  Our Girl  as Private Rhett Charlton, [8]  whilst he appeared as Lee in 2021's  Ridley Road .

Whitney Dean is a fictional character from the BBC soap opera EastEnders, played by Shona McGarty. Amy-Leigh Hickman is an English actress. Hickman made her television debut as Carmen Howle in the CBBC series Tracy Beaker Returns, a role she reprised in the sequel series The Dumping Ground. She then went onto appear as Linzi Bragg in the BBC soap opera EastEnders, before being cast as Nasreen Paracha in the Channel 4 drama Ackley Bridge, a role for which she won the Actor award for at the RTS Yorkshire Awards. Her other roles include Ester Kamali in Strike Back (2013), Sia Marshall in Safe (2018), Mimi Saunders in Our Girl (2020) and Bethany in Innocent (2021). Our Girl is a British television military drama series written and created by Tony Grounds. Its feature-length television pilot first broadcast on BBC One on 24 March 2013 and initially starred Lacey Turner as Molly Dawes, a young working-class woman, who joins the British Army after deciding her life is going down the drain. Following the feature-length pilot episode, a continuation show was commissioned, with Turner reprising her role for the first series, which commenced broadcast on 21 September 2014.

Dyer's casting was announced on 1 October 2013 with that of his on-screen partner, Linda Carter, played by Kellie Bright. He is the son of established character Shirley Carter and is a member of the Carter family. Mick immediately becomes the new landlord of The Queen Victoria public house, bringing Linda, their son Johnny Carter and pet bulldog Lady Di with him. They are later joined by daughter Nancy Carter, son Lee Carter and other members of the extended family. Johnny Carter (<i>EastEnders</i>) Soap opera character

Johnny Carter is a fictional character from the BBC soap opera EastEnders, portrayed by Charlie Suff. Johnny makes his first appearance in episode 4771, originally broadcast on 26 December 2013. Johnny has been played by three actors since being introduced in 2013. Sam Strike first portrayed the role from 2013 until he exited in 2014, his final appearance on 25 December 2014 via a Skype call on Christmas Day. In February 2016, it was announced that Johnny would return, played by Ted Reilly who made his first appearance on 11 April 2016. Reilly announced his departure from the role in December 2017, making his final on-screen appearance on 29 January 2018. In December 2023, it was announced that the character would be returning, played by Charlie Suff. Johnny returned on 9 February 2024.

<i>Our Girl</i> series 4 Season of television series

The fourth and final series of the British military drama television series Our Girl began broadcasting on 24 March 2020 on BBC One, and ended on 28 April 2020. The series focused on protagonist Georgie Lane, who had recently been promoted to sergeant, rejoining 2-Section on a tour in Afghanistan, where she is forced to face her own inner demons. It consists of six sixty-minute episodes.
