Danny-Boy Hatchard (born 26 July 1991) [1] is an English actor, known for portraying the role of Lee Carter in the BBC soap opera EastEnders . [2] Hatchard's other credits include Aaron in the 2014 film We Still Kill the Old Way and Steven Pierce in the 20th anniversary production of Beautiful Thing . [3] In July 2019, it was announced that he will play Private Rhett Charlton in the fourth series of Our Girl .

Career

On 21 January 2014, Hatchard was cast in the role of Lee Carter in the BBC soap opera EastEnders . [4] He began filming his first scenes in February. [4] It was announced in 2016 that Hatchard would leave EastEnders in 2017. [5] He returned temporarily in late 2019 for a short stint, and again in December 2020. [6] In 2020 Hatchard joined the cast of the BBC military drama Our Girl as Private Rhett Charlton, [7] whilst he appeared as Lee in 2021's Ridley Road .

Whitney Dean is a fictional character from the BBC soap opera EastEnders, played by Shona McGarty. The character is the ward of long-running character Bianca Jackson and was introduced on 1 April 2008 when Palmer returned to the series after a nine-year absence. Whitney is described by executive producer Diederick Santer as both an equal to, and younger version of Bianca, and is the oldest of Bianca's four children. Whitney was absent from the soap across four weeks in 2012 when McGarty was suspended for repeated lateness. Amy-Leigh Hickman is an English actress. Hickman made her television debut as Carmen Howle in the CBBC series Tracy Beaker Returns, a role she reprised in the sequel series The Dumping Ground. She then went onto appear as Linzi Bragg in the BBC soap opera EastEnders, before being cast as Nasreen Paracha in the Channel 4 drama Ackley Bridge, a role for which she won the Actor award for at the RTS Yorkshire Awards. Mick Carter is a fictional character from the BBC soap opera EastEnders played by Danny Dyer, making his first appearance in the show in the episode originally broadcast in the United Kingdom on 25 December 2013. Dyer's casting was announced on 1 October 2013 with that of his on-screen partner, Linda Carter, played by Kellie Bright. He is the son of established character Shirley Carter and is a member of the Carter family. Mick immediately becomes the new landlord of The Queen Victoria public house, bringing Linda, their son Johnny Carter and pet bulldog Lady Di with him. They are later joined by daughter Nancy Carter, son Lee Carter and other members of the extended family. In January 2022, it was announced that Dyer had quit the show after nine years in the role of Mick, and his final scenes aired on 25 December 2022.
