Dante Spinetta (born December 9, 1976, in Buenos Aires, Argentina) is an Argentine singer/composer who is part of the duo Illya Kuryaki and the Valderramas.
Spinetta was born on December 9, 1976; he is the son of the musician Luis Alberto Spinetta. At the age of 14 he started recording hip hop tunes. [1]
In 2001 he married choreographer Majo Carnero and had a son, Brando de Dios and daughter Vida Uniqua.
In 1990 Spinetta joined Emmanuel Horvilleur to form the hip-hop duo Illya Kuryaki and the Valderramas. Together, they recorded seven albums and received several awards, including some Gold and Platinum albums.
After 10 years, the duo split and they decided to continue their careers as solo artists.
His first album Elevado was released in 2002. The album contained 17 songs, while first single released for this album was "Donde Vas" which was launched with a promotional video. In 2007 he released his second album, El Apagón, in which he experiments with reggaeton elements added to the hip-hop and rap styles used in his previous work.
Some other artists have recorded songs with him, like Julieta Venegas (in the song "Olvídalo") and Tony Touch (in the song "El Fogueo"). He also collaborated with Venegas on the song "Primer Día".
The 4th Annual Latin Grammy Awards were held in Miami at the American Airlines Arena on Wednesday, September 3, 2003. It was the first time the telecast was held outside of Los Angeles. Juanes was the night's biggest winner winning a record five awards including Album of the Year. He tied his own record winning five awards again five years later in 2008. Illya Kuryaki and the Valderramas (IKV) is an Argentine musical duo from Buenos Aires, formed in 1991 and consisting of Dante Spinetta and Emmanuel Horvilleur. The duo split in 2001 to follow solo careers, but later performed together several times, and officially reunited in 2011. The duo took their name from a fictional character, the Soviet spy Illya Kuryakin in the hit 1960s TV show The Man from U.N.C.L.E., and the Colombian football player Carlos Valderrama. Their musical style is extremely wide-ranging, including hip-hop, rock, funk, and salsa.
Limón y Sal is the fourth studio album released by Mexican singer-songwriter Julieta Venegas. Recorded in Buenos Aires, Argentina, it was first released in Mexico on May 30, 2006 and in the United States on June 6, 2006. The album's overall themes deal with the general ups and downs of life and relationships. All the songs were composed by Venegas, with the exception of three songs, where she had the help of Coti Sorokin, Dante Spinetta and Cachorro López. Some notable songs are "Primer Día" with its reggae rhythm, sung in a duet with Dante Spinetta, "De Qué Me Sirve", where she plays the accordion in a tango and "bolero" fashion and "Eres Para Mí", a pop duet with Chilean singer Anita Tijoux.

She became famous in Latin America as the MC of hip hop band Makiza during the late 1990s. In 2006, she crossed over to the mainstream of Latin pop after her collaboration with Mexican singer Julieta Venegas in the radio hit "Eres para mí". Tijoux has often been praised for "exploring sensitive matters devoid of violence." Realmente lo Mejor is the first compilation album released by Mexican singer-songwriter Julieta Venegas on December 18, 2007. This album includes every single released from her first four albums, Aquí, Bueninvento, Sí, and Limón y Sal. It was also announced that a special deluxe edition was to be released with this album, including B-sides and soundtrack collaborations, but to date remains unreleased.

Gerardo Horacio López von Linden, known professionally as Cachorro López, is an Argentine record producer, musician and songwriter. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, he enrolled in various musical ensembles, including Zas and Los Abuelos de la Nada. López has worked with several artists producing their albums, including Caifanes, Stephanie Salas, Andrés Calamaro, Paulina Rubio, Diego Torres and Miranda!. López also was the executive producer of the tribute album for the English band Queen in 1997. His work has been recognized with two Latin Grammy Awards for Producer of the Year in 2006 and 2009, out of four consecutive nominations, and a Grammy Award for producing Limón y Sal by Julieta Venegas.

Chaco is the third studio album by the Argentine duo Illya Kuryaki and the Valderramas, released in 1995 by Gigolo Productions. It was produced by Mariano Lopez Machi, former bassist of Invisible. The disc includes sixteen tracks that were mastered in New York by Ted Jensen. Accompanied by Fernando Samalea (drums), Gustavo Spinetta (percussion), Gabriel Albizuri (guitar) and Fernando Nale (bass), the musicians presented the single "Abarajame". The title of the album is called under a northern Argentinian province, statistically the poorest one in that country.

Leche is the fifth studio album by Argentine musical duo Illya Kuryaki and the Valderramas, released on 10 August 1999, through Universal Music Argentina.
