Illya Kuryaki and the Valderramas (IKV) is a musical duo formed in 1991 consisting of Dante Spinetta and Emmanuel Horvilleur, from Buenos Aires, Argentina. The duo split in 2001 to follow solo careers, but later performed together several times, and officially reunited in 2011. The duo took their name from a fictional character, the Soviet spy Illya Kuryakin in the hit 1960s TV show The Man from U.N.C.L.E., and the Colombian football player Carlos Valderrama. Their musical style is extremely wide-ranging, including hip-hop, rock, funk, and salsa.
Fabián Andrés González Amado, known by his stage name Tweety González, is an Argentine musician and record producer. González is mostly known for playing the keyboard for Argentine rock band Soda Stereo and Argentine musician Fito Páez. Tweety is also a music producer and has worked with artists Shakira, Gustavo Cerati, Illya Kuryaki and the Valderramas, Luis Alberto Spinetta, Superlitio, Famasloop and several others. Gustavo Cerati's 2006 Ahí vamos in which Tweety played keyboards won the Latin Grammy for Best Rock Solo Vocal Album.

Jotdog is the debut studio album by Mexican group Jotdog. It was released on 2009 by Sei Track. The album is produced and arranged by Jorge "Chiquis" Amaro, with lead vocals by María Barracuda. The songs are mostly inspired by unrequited love, and deals with romantic relationships from different points of view. Musically, the album drew inspiration from '80s electropop and synthpop while incorporating dance music and clear hooks. The album received positive reviews, with critics commending Amaro's production and Barracuda's lyrics, and comparing their lineup and musical style to the bands Garbage and Mecano. The singles from Jotdog, "Hasta Contar a Mil", "Resistir" and "Las Pequeñas Cosas", were well received by the audience. Jotdog promoted the album by performing the songs in a number of live appearances. Jotdog was re-released with a bonus DVD with additional features and received nominations for the Premios Oye! and the Latin Grammy Awards.
Gerardo Horacio López von Linden, known professionally as Cachorro López, is an Argentine record producer, musician and songwriter. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, he enrolled in various musical ensembles, including Zas and Los Abuelos de la Nada. López has worked with several artists producing their albums, including Caifanes, Stephanie Salas, Andrés Calamaro, Paulina Rubio, Diego Torres and Miranda!. López also was the executive producer of the tribute album for the English band Queen in 1997. His work has been recognized with two Latin Grammy Awards for Producer of the Year in 2006 and 2009, out of four consecutive nominations, and a Grammy Award for producing Limón y Sal by Julieta Venegas.

Chaco is the third studio album by the Argentine duo Illya Kuryaki and the Valderramas, released in 1995 by Gigolo Productions. It was produced by Mariano Lopez Machi, former bassist of Invisible. The disc includes sixteen tracks that were mastered in New York by Ted Jensen. Accompanied by Fernando Samalea (drums), Gustavo Spinetta (percussion), Gabriel Albizuri (guitar) and Fernando Nale (bass), the musicians presented the single "Abarajame". The title of the album is called under a northern Argentinian province, statistically the poorest one in that country.

Natalia Beatriz Dora Peluso, known professionally as Nathy Peluso, is an Argentine singer, songwriter, dancer and pedagogue. After graduating King Juan Carlos University, Peluso relocated to Barcelona to pursue a professional career in music, with her first releases, Esmeralda (2017) and La Sandunguera (2018), being confected independently. After signing Sony Music, Peluso started working on her breakthrough album Calambre (2020), for which she won the Latin Grammy Award for Best Alternative Music Album.
