Dany Ryser (born 25 April 1957) is a Swiss football manager. He is currently in charge of the Switzerland national under-17 football team. In 2009, he led the under-17 side in winning the 2009 FIFA U-17 World Cup. [1] The following year he won the award for Swiss football coach of the year.
Ryser has since 1 November 1986 been a UEFA Pro-License coach. Since 1997 he has worked for Swiss Football Association. He previously coached FC Biel-Bienne and several Switzerland national football teams at various age-levels. [2]
Switzerland
The Germany national football team represents Germany in men's international football and played its first match in 1908. The team is governed by the German Football Association, founded in 1900. Hakan Yakin is a Swiss football coach and a former player who played as a forward or midfielder. He is an assistant manager with Schaffhausen. He was a member of the Swiss national team for eleven years.
Lothar Herbert Matthäus is a German football manager and former player. After captaining West Germany to victory in the 1990 FIFA World Cup where he lifted the World Cup trophy, he was awarded the Ballon d'Or. In 1991, he was named the first FIFA World Player of the Year, and remains the only German to have received the award. He was also included in the Ballon d'Or Dream Team in 2020.
