Dapoli Vidhan Sabha constituency is one of the 288 Vidhan Sabha (Legislative Assembly) constituencies of Maharashtra state in western India.
Maharashtra is a state in the western peninsular region of India occupying a substantial portion of the Deccan Plateau. It is the second-most populous state and third-largest state by area in India. Ratnagiri district is one of the 36 districts of Maharashtra, India. Ratnagiri is the district headquarters of the district. The district is 11.33% urban. The district is bounded by the Arabian Sea to the west, Sindhudurg district to the south, Raigad district to the north and Satara, Sangli and Kolhapur districts to the east. This district is part of Konkan division.
Before the delimitation of the parliamentary constituencies in 2008, Dapoli was part of the Ratnagiri Lok Sabha constituency. After the delimitation, it became part of the Raigad Lok Sabha constituency along with five other Vidhan Sabha segments, namely Guhagar in the Ratnagiri district and Pen, Alibag, Shrivardhan and Mahad in the Raigad district.
Ratnagiri was a Lok Sabha parliamentary constituency in Maharashtra. In 2008, it was merged with some other areas to form a new Lok Sabha seat called Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg
Raigad Lok Sabha constituency is one of the 48 Lok Sabha constituencies of Maharashtra state in western India. It is a new constituency, created in 2008 as a part of the implementation of the delimitation of the parliamentary constituencies based on the recommendations of the Delimitation Commission of India constituted on 12 July 2002. The constituency first held elections in 2009 and its first member of parliament was Anant Geete of Shiv Sena who was also re-elected in the 2014 elections. In the 2019 General Elections Sunil Tatkare of NCP won the seat by margin of 31,438 votes defeating the incumbent Geetee who was also a Union Cabinet minister.

Dapoli is a town in Ratnagiri district, Maharashtra. It is 215 km (134 mi) from the state capital of Mumbai. Dapoli is also known as Camp Dapoli as British set their camps in Dapoli. Many high-ranking British officers' graves are found in this town. The town also has an abandoned church from the time of the British Raj. Dapoli is home to one of the biggest Agricultural Universities in India, Dr. Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeet. Dapoli is administered by the Dapoli Municipal Council.
